$100 will soon be the floor. Even if oil started flowing today it'll take months for prices to go down.
Prices of everything from gas at the pump to airfares to anything made overseas are already rising.

I stated this on another thread(s), I will state it again.
Iran is winning.
the attacks on the oil "pipeline" has been devastating. Iraq has shut down it's port. Traffic through Hormuz has dried up.
The gulf states have limited storage capacity.
Once that capacity is reached, the pumps are shut off
The pumps cannot simply be turned back on, it takes weeks if not months to restart an oil well.
We are on the edge of the abyss

I have to say that $100 a barrel oil has suppressed MAGA input into the forum more effectively than anything I have ever seen.
When it reaches $200 maybe they will go away completely.

Meanwhile, the DOW, S&P500 (most bond markets), and NASDAQ sink back to the levels of 4+ months ago hitting everyone's IRA investments and with no relief in sight. Our oil stocks are helping to lessen the blow, but as a senior retiree, it's getting scary.
Thanks Trump and Hegseth for _ing up my retirement funds, making us less safe, and driving up the cost of living, not to mention making US a world embarrassment. God help us.

Everyone is pretending to be all up in arms over something being done about Iran.
Iran and North Korea have been at the top of the list of concerns of national security for the US consistently for the past 40+ years.
