Oil prices have risen - reaching $100 a barrel at one point - as three more cargo ships are attacked in the Gulf.

$100 will soon be the floor. Even if oil started flowing today it'll take months for prices to go down.

Prices of everything from gas at the pump to airfares to anything made overseas are already rising.

I stated this on another thread(s), I will state it again.

Iran is winning.

the attacks on the oil "pipeline" has been devastating. Iraq has shut down it's port. Traffic through Hormuz has dried up.

The gulf states have limited storage capacity.

Once that capacity is reached, the pumps are shut off

The pumps cannot simply be turned back on, it takes weeks if not months to restart an oil well.

We are on the edge of the abyss

Meanwhile, the DOW, S&P500 (most bond markets), and NASDAQ sink back to the levels of 4+ months ago hitting everyone's IRA investments and with no relief in sight. Our oil stocks are helping to lessen the blow, but as a senior retiree, it's getting scary.
