Trump Admin: War in Iran 'terminated'

War that continues for 60 plus days must get Congressional approval. So the Trump administrations is trying to avoid that by saying the war was terminated with the negotiated ceasefire. Yet the U.S. will continue to pay for the massive build up of military in the region, including those guarding the still-closed Strait of Hormuz and Americans will continue to pay high fuel prices.

The War Powers Act is clear.
If Congress has not authorized going to war, the President must withdraw U.S. forces after 60 days. Senators on both sides of the aisle have acknowledged this.
Today, we must abide by the law and end this war.[image or embed]

"Terminated" is the legalistic term used in the letter MAGAJeebus tossed Congress' way on Day-60. It's a sop that will satisfy the Republicans so they don't have to actually meet, discuss, or vote on the forever war they've embraced - just duck and hide, as usual.

It's doubtful Trump himself actually said, "Terminated." I mean, really ... .
