Monday, June 01, 2026

President Donald Trump's $4.7 billion war on cocaine smugglers has claimed the lives of nearly 200 people yet hasn't made the drug meaningfully harder to buy in the United States, according to experts.

I dunno. I have not heard the word "Fentanyl" since Lewzer swiped all that oil from Venezuela.

The Trump admin said that the drugs on the boats they were destroying were going to the US.

Mostly the drug transport in that area was destined for Europe, not the US.

But the Trump admin seemed to have had a ------ from viewing the videos of fishing boats being blown up.

Evidence isn't necessary in Trump World... as a matter of fact, it's laughed at.

Killing people like this for Trump is another version of his ballroom.

I don't think that there will be a full and honest reckoning regarding the man's insanity until after the man is dead.

For decades, the USG has spent more money on violent counter-narcotics campaigns in the Third World rather than spending the money to improve the lives of poor coca or opium growers so they won't have to rely on the drug cartels just to survive: hri.global

Killing fishermen ended up not being a big enough diversion from the Epstein files so he has moved on a bigger diversion in the Middle East.

I don't think anybody expected that to be the result. At least not yet.

And most folks believe the vast majority of these folks were drug runners, not fisherman.

Doesn't make it right but don't think folks really care either.

Swing that purse Beverly!

It's what you do best.

Over 200 murders (extrajudicial killings) and you think no one cares?

Not everyone thinks it's ok. More than half of Americans do not support this kind of crap.

According to an ACLU/YouGov poll fielded in mid-December, 83% agree that the Trump administration should publicly release its legal justification for their lethal strikes on civilian boats at sea

ooooooo0000OOOO0000oooooo... Reganomics is still with us.

Hon... you know... those "drug pipelines"s were carved out by the CIA... in the 1980's... while the "just say no" Nancy Reagan mouth off about was in full swing. It was set up to finance covert operations... to kill commies... so's not to raise taxes... It was part of the Voodoo economics scenario... It's a fact.

Cocaine and opium depend on nations with disposable income... when Regan made borrowing so cheap... the country was awash in disposable... albeit borrowed income... and a lot of expensive boogers... and bankruptcies... private equity prisons... were the pay-off.

They aren't going anywhere... There is still gold in nose candy... The shooting of boats is just for show...

Even if they were "smugglers... which I doubt... it was just for show...

Am I making it about you if I call you fuckin dumb?

Or can that statement just stand on its own?

Anyway, she made it about herself. Crying like a little bitch about something she knows is true but can't stand it.

-Over 200 murders (extrajudicial killings) and you think no one cares?

I think the vast majority of the American public believes these were drug runners. They can also say in a poll we should be able to see the legal justification for it as well.

-More than half of Americans do not support this kind of crap.

Believe what you want. Assign outrage and disapproval wherever you need to. I'm just saying folks believe these were drug runners.

Or confirm you really believe that?

I watched a couple videos being offered as evidence these folks are fisherman.

The first one is the sister of one of the survivors of an attack...she can't find him and he's a convicted drug dealer....but she insists he was fishing that day. LOL

The second one is stating another boat had a trucker and a farmer but the other guy on the boat was a known drug smuggler.......LOL

This is the noise people here which convinces them they were all drug smugglers.

And I'm sure that's not true. I'm 100% sure we've killed legitimate fishermen. And even if we haven't......doesn't make any of it right or legal.

I'm saying it's a tough sell to the American people.

#27 | Posted by eberly at 2026-06-01 11:44 AM | Reply

Let's see the memos that supposedly gave legal justification for this program.
Then let's see persuasive evidence backing up the necessity for the attacks/killings.
Otherwise, most of what's out there comes from the Trump regime.
Which, unfortunately, blew past credibility a very long time ago.

Just like now... a demented preznit took office... performing like a sockpuppet.
oh funn-eh thaaaaaang... Iran was involved... pppsssstt... we still haven't won against Iran... who BTW could have been giving us chit regarding the straight a looooooooooong time ago... justifyably so... yet they didn't. Why? They aren't afraid of us! Never have been... even though we started undercutting them back in 1950 with Eisenhower... and theCIA... trying to install the perfect government to exploit... like they did in Cuba around the same time.

The only thing that saved Regoonietunes... was Bushturd 1 being elected... and Casper Weinberger being pardoned... so the country "could move on"... from what at the time was the most corrupt presidency in history... a man who only (as per his wife) 5 years later couldn't remember he was president...

As if "moving on from Nixon wasn't enough...

If it were just a couple of instances, I don't think it would even make the news. But at this point I think many people would like to see strong evidence beyond Trump and Hegseth's word. Especially since this regime is a hive of serial liars.

The burden of proof is on the Gov doing the killing... and they aren't offering any. Because they don't have to; their Base doesn't care about proof and facts.

-But at this point I think many people would like to see strong evidence beyond Trump and Hegseth's word.

My point is that if such evidence is presented, then I suppose people want the truth.

But if no evidence surfaces......then I think most folks will continue believing they were drug runners.

Here's the thing.......you, Donner, Alex, even trite, etc....you all want to believe they were fishermen. You WANT that to be the truth.

Which is fine......but you assign that want to most Americans. That's the source of so much of your disappointment in results....how Trump gets elected twice, how J6 happens and he escapes it, and dozens of other issues that fail to come to any satisfying fruition. Most Americans don't WANT the truth to be they were fishermen. If anything, they WANT to believe they were drug runners not because they blindly believe Trump but because they know drug running is a massive business, kills/imprisons, etc way too many Americans, and they want someone to do something about it.

You are truly ignorant... which is why you're part of the cl0wnbrigade... these current events have a loooooong history...

Our conflict with Iran started in 1953... and the US didn't like who they elected... it had to do with the unfair distribution of oil revenues.
Eisenhower felt so encouraged by the "success" of the CIA's covert operation... Cuba got Bautista inserted into their process... via USA's involvement.. as you already know it didn't go well... and the USA is still doing butt hurt... can't forgive Cuba... or all of Latin America for that matter... for winning their fights for autonomy...

Yep.. Casper Weinburger was the link that would have convicted Reagan... and implied the (oil Barron)Bushturds... and why he was so anxious to pardon him.

Honestly... it was just a lighter version of what we are doing... politically... now...

Until you do some research... so we can have an effective debate... you're just another Bozo I like to poke at here... because it's so easy.
