Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is increasingly concerned about Israel ramping up its spying on the US, recently raising the counterintelligence threat level from America's so-called ally in the Middle East to the highest level. DIA's civilian counterpart CIA, has always considered Israeli intelligence to be their top counterintelligence threat in the Middle East, as in the case of infamous American traitor Jonathan Pollard.

"The CIA considers Israel its No. 1 counterintelligence threat in the agency's Near East Division, the group that oversees spying across the Middle East. Counterintelligence is the art of protecting national secrets from spies. This means the CIA believes that US national secrets are safer from other Middle Eastern governments than from Israel."

~snip~

USIC personnel don't take any foreign espionage activity personal as this is "business" and we do the same to other countries. For decades, Russia and our so-called "ally" Israel have always posed the number one intelligence threats to US national and economic security, joined later by China which was once considered a localized menace in PACOM AOR. But members of the USIC do take betrayal and treason personally, like in the cases of CIA analyst Aldrich Ames, FBI Special Agent Robert Hanssen, or ONI analyst Jonathan Pollard.

Jonathan Pollard sold US national secrets to Israel, causing exceptionally grave and irreparable damage to US national security. He was been described as the "scum of the earth" by a retired US NCIS Senior Special Agent.

So disappointing

This is a strategic decision (aka corrupt), not one coming from morality.

Who, at this point, should we consider?

Any non-AIPAC candidate for POTUS in 2028 would be so refreshing.

AOC has the most name recognition and social followers.

Bernie might be considered too, but he's a bit old now. The AIPAC Dems skewered him in 2016 which was his best chance.

Former D/NCTC Joe Kent (R) resigned his position because of nefarious Israeli influence in the USG and USIC (which I personally witnessed myself) and this stupid war on Iran.

Joe Kent suggested a fusion ticket approach to the POTUS election: a non-AIPAC Republican and a non-AIPAC Democrat.

Otherwise, America is stuck with an average 65% of eligible voters turning out because so many of us are tired of AIPAC candidates, R and D, and Israel's ethnic cleansing of the poor Palestinian people, all with our taxpayer dollars.

#5 Why is it that C0RI0LANUS posts this picture...

Why, 'tis almost like he really, really wants to see Paxton win in Texas in 2026...just like Shrimpy. These are their candidates:
.

Not sure why he hates the Democratic Party, the only viable alternative to Trumpf and MAGA and the GOP

What's C0RI0LANUS's motivation?

His behavior mirrors the now-corporate media attacks on our fantastic Democratic candidate for US Senate in Maine.

Almost like they - and C0RI0LANUS - want to cripple the Democratic Party before the elections as much as possible.

Or is there an alternative explanation for his constant damning of the Democratic Party and Democratic Candidates?

"Any non-AIPAC candidate for POTUS in 2028 would be so refreshing."

Yeah?!?!

Unicorns and lollipops and clouds made of cotton candy might be so refreshing, too.

But intelligent people deal with the cards in their hand, not some imaginary nirvana.

"AOC has the most name recognition and social followers."

AOC is a phenomenal person, a gifted politician, and clearly the voice and face of the future of the Democratic Party.

That said, however, and with a clear vision to what happened to the Democratic Party nominees in 2016 and 2024 ...

... AOC at the top of the Democratic Party ticket in 2028 would make the Republican blowouts in 1972 and 1984 seem like nail-biters in comparison. 'Tis a Republican political hack's wet dream.

Want to see AOC ascend to the top?

Then do all the hard and difficult work of bringing in new voters, educating them, imbue them with a sense of community, working towards electing Democrats.

But damning candidates running in the only viable alternative to the Republican Party in America in 2026 and 2028 - for not being pure - is political suicide.

Never fear the next generation; at one time we were all the next generation

#7 Good to see you, ExpectingReign.

But I should warn you, my long-time friend, I have been outed as a long-time Israeli PsyOp agent!

Why, it was even confirmed by The American Conservative!

What can I say, ExpectingReign?

#7 On January 26th of this year, I posted a ** HAPPY BIRTHDAY DETHSPUD ** thread, which received many, many good comments.

"Be well," was a common comment.

But, alas, I do not believe that Dethspud hangs around here anymore.

He was good people, ExpectingReign.

No. While it may concern many voters, this is not driving the lack of turnout like you believe. People are far more disgusted with the lack of stomach or even interest in solving long standing domestic issues that directly affect them.

#14 Clown, I think it is working out just fine for Democratic Party candidates, 2025 and 2026 ...

-> Georgia voters ousted two Republican members of the state's Public Service Commission in favor of two Democrats - the first Democrats to win statewide nonfederal offices in decades.

-> Democrats in Mississippi Break the G.O.P.'s State House Supermajority

-> Every single county in Virginia - even deeply red counties - saw shifts TOWARDS the Democrats, as opposed to how they voted 1 year ago.

-> Dems flip Wichita School Board from a 4-3 GOP majority to a 5-2 Democratic majority. Democratic candidates Amy Warren and Amy Jensen defeated Republican incumbents Hazel Stabler and Kathy Bond.

-> Two of Tuesday's school board elections were in Bucks County, Pa., which was considered "ground zero" for right-wing groups' takeover of school boards in 2021. A few years ago, conservatives on these boards in Pennbridge and Central Bucks districts were using their roles to pass policies targeting LGBTQ+ students and banning books.

---> Democrats flipped control of both boards in 2023, and on Tuesday, they ousted every Republican from both of these boards, except for one. The Pennbridge school board is now 8-1, with Democratic members in control. The Central Bucks school board is 9-0.

-> In Texas, we even won in Lockhart, which sits in a district so red that Democrats normally don't even run. We had a clean sweep in Cy-Fair ISD, another deeply red area that not even Greg Abbott could save your party.

-> In SD-9, another red district, we saw an 8 point shift for the Democrat

-> Eileen Higgins elected as first Democratic mayor of Miami in three decades

And I'm pretty certain that those results are not making Republicans any happier.

Pointing out that domestic issues directly affecting voters is the primary driver of voting habits isn't ignoring the Israel/Gaza issue.

It's literally saying they're bigger drivers of voting habits.

This isn't hard. Well, it isn't unless you're trying to sooth your biases by convincing yourself your bubble is bigger and more meaningful than it really is.

#17 Clown, just what "bubble" do you think JPW is trying to convince himself of?

Are you really trying to say that?

If the Israeli/Hamas war is a deciding issue for Democratic Party voters, then certainly you can back that up with some data.

Right?

Or are you really trying to claim that domestic issues directly affecting voters is not the primary driver of voting habits here in the USA?

Really?

Republicans love that the DNC is currently divided by this issue.

There's the pro Israel, corporate owned democrats and democrats who put the needs of Americans first.

This isn't even a hypothetical. It's a fact.

America will keep losing until Democrats start putting the needs of working class Americans first.
