More Dead Ducks at the White House

Two more dead ducks have been found near Donald Trump's Reflecting Pool. The dead ducks were discovered floating in a pond at Constitution Gardens on the National Mall, a short distance from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, according to The Washington Post.

Paint the pool blue, causing it to reflect less sunlight, making it warmer and perfect for an algae bloom. Pour in hydrogen peroxide to kill the algae, killing ducks in the process. The hydrogen peroxide causes the paint to peel, so you blame "vandals." Drain pool, repeat.

Agreed!

The bride started sourcing from them during Covid. Now, it's our go-to for duck, Berkshire pork chops, and lamb. It's completely ruined me for restaurant duck.

Expensive, but worth it. And scads less than we'd pay at a restaurant for that taste.

Which reminds me of an ancient and quite demented family member, who kept calling the police to insist that people were sitting in the trees staring at her through her window.

I don't see a fingernail's worth of difference between this and Trump's conviction that teams of ninja vandals are sneaking in to create enormous cuts in the reflecting pool no one can actually see the next morning.

I had heard that, but I was skeptical if it actually happened because I didn't want to believe he would be that stupid to do such a thing.

Then this morning I saw the video of it on the news.

I also saw the video of Pres Trump saying on May 4, 2026 that the coating is so strong that a knife could not cut it.
