Our country is now saddled with weak and spineless leadership at The Fed and Treasury. Kevin "I'm not saying" Warsh dares not to say anything about the economy and what the Federal Reserve Bank is collectively thinking, and wishes that people would stop even looking at him. Why? He is terrified that his views on inflation are in direct conflict with the views of the man who put him in his job, and Warsh doesn't want to be insulted and belittled. Swell--a Fed chair with thin skin.
At Treasury, Americans have the worst Treasury Secretary in at least 100 years in Scott "I'm neuter--not gay" Bessent, who is currently trying his own form of Fed open market operations, in this case his actions are like paying a mortgage payment with a credit card. Bessent is clearly afraid of being fired, which would result in the shattering of his already weakened reputation on Wall Street.
Der Dotard is getting what he asked for--weak, ineffectual department heads who are deferring to their boss in all matters relating to their jobs, and thus foisting blame on the boss...
His chances for being elected governor still look good to Goober, Cletus and JR down there in 'Bama way...
