CBS News -- Bias and Credibility
mediabiasfactcheck.com

... Overall, we rate CBS News as Right-Center Biased in this update due to emerging editorial decisions and leadership influence under Bari Weiss that suggest a shift away from its historically left-center orientation.

Due to emerging evidence that CBS News is censoring content unfavorable to the government, we are downgrading its rating to Mostly Factual with Medium credibility, despite its historically strong sourcing, professional reporting, and lack of significant failed fact checks. ...

Lyrics excerpt ...

...
Ride across the country
I can hear the people call
Some folks, they got everything
And I got nothin' at all

I don't want revolution
I just want a little something
While I sit and do my thing
The revolution's coming

Lookin' for a silver lining
Searchin' for a sign
If we're gonna make it, make it quick
Because we're runnin' out of time

Can't do things I want to
'Cause that's what money's for
I do things I don't want
Gonna cost me even more

Tomorrow is tomorrow
And a million years away
But I serve up every morning
To the mem' of yesterday

Lookin' for a silver lining
Searchin' for a sign
If we're gonna make it, make it quick
Because we're runnin' out of time, yeah

Money's makin' money
It's just the way it always is
People are makin' people
Who've got no way to pay

@#1 ... The social video platform company signed agreements with major investors, including Oracle ...

Oracle, a.k.a the Ellison family ...

As Ellison buys out TikTok, U.S. moves toward one-Party media (September 2025)
mronline.org

... Larry Ellison, founder of the software firm Oracle, is the second-richest billionaire in both the U.S. and the world, and for a brief moment was No. 1 in the world (AP, 9/11/25). But for a long time, unlike many of his peers, he was unable to boast that he controlled a chunk of the news and opinion reaching the American public.

On Forbes US list, he is sandwiched between Elon Musk, No. 1, who bought the social media network Twitter and rebranded it as X, and Mark Zuckerberg, who runs Meta, which operates Facebook and Instagram. Jeff Bezos, at No. 4, has the Washington Post. Larry Page and Sergey Brin of Google, Nos. 5 and 6, operate the leading search engine as well as one of the most important news aggregators, Google News. Michael Bloomberg, at No. 13, the former New York City mayor, has Bloomberg and its various outlets.

Ellison seems to have joined the club, as TikTok, under U.S. government coercion (FAIR.org, 1/23/25), is selling 80% of its U.S. operations to an investor consortium that includes Oracle, along with investment firms Silver Lake and Andreessen Horowitz (Reuters, 9/16/25).

Ellison is a big Trumper, joining in the reactionary denial of the 2020 presidential elections (Washington Post, 5/20/22). Like some of the others in the deal, he is part of the inner circle of Trump's favorite corporate ideologues. This TikTok deal is not just about money. It's about control of the political narrative. ...

Shadow fleet
en.wikipedia.org

... A shadow fleet, also referred to as a dark fleet, is a ship or group of such shadow ships, "...that uses concealing tactics to smuggle sanctioned goods".[1]:311 Shadow fleets are a direct response to international or unilateral economic sanctions. The term therefore more broadly refers to practices of sanction-busting in the maritime domain through the use of unregistered or fraudulent vessels. Goods commonly exported and imported include raw materials such as oil and iron, luxury goods, weapons and defense technologies, etc.

Shadow fleets use a wide range of techniques in a complex layer, aimed at obscuring their activities or keeping plausible deniability. Though those techniques are well documented and are similar across actors, they create enforcement problems for authorities due to lack of coordination, cooperation, or resources and political will. Moreover, shadow fleets operate in legal grey zones, often on the high seas beyond the jurisdiction of coastal states, making arrests and seizures difficult.

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Russian shadow fleet smuggling Russian oil for export has drawn renewed attention. This has led to growing concerns about the geopolitical impacts of such fleets, their significance with regards to sanctions' enforcement and efficacy, and the safety and security risks they create. Indeed, as 'dark' vessels use deceptive practices and often constitute ageing vessels, they "present a serious threat to maritime security, safety and the marine environment".[1]:310

The International Maritime Organization signaled its desire to create new enforcement mechanisms against grey ships, signing a resolution in October 2023 that defined for the first time the term 'dark' ship. It noted that:

a fleet of between 300 and 600 tankers primarily comprised of older ships, including some not inspected recently, having substandard maintenance, unclear ownership and a severe lack of insurance, was currently operated as a 'dark fleet' or 'shadow fleet' to circumvent sanctions and high insurance costs.

More like the, 'Bored of Peace'.

excerpt

"The hesitancy of so many countries to join the Board of Peace is apparently centered around the fact that Trump wants the Board of Peace to be involved in various conflicts all around the world. And many other countries see that as his way of destroying the United Nations.

Now, I know that some of you may be happy that the United
Nations might have to take a backseat to the Board of Peace, but it needs to be restated that Donald Trump is the chairman of the Board of Peace, and that is a lifetime position.

As chairman, he also holds incredible power over which nations or other leaders might sit on the executive board and what direction the board of peace might go.

The power that Trump would hold as chairman of the Board of Peace and the immense amount of money that might flow into its coffers is truly staggering.

I mentioned a moment ago that Trump never met Pope Leo, although he did, interestingly enough, meet Pope Leo's brother at the White House last year, < and that was because Pope Leo's brother is a big MAGA fan.

But while Trump never met Pope Leo, Trump did meet Pietro Perilene. That was back in May of 2017 when Trump visited Pope Francis.

At that time, Perilene was the Vatican Secretary of State, a position he still holds to this day. Perilene was also rather consiliatory toward Trump after Trump won reelection in 2024, saying,

"We wish him much wisdom because that is the main virtue of rulers according to the Bible."

He added that he hoped Trump could bring an element of day and pacification in the current conflicts that are bleeding the world. So, as far as Trump's invitation to Pope Leo to join the Board of Peace...

I'm wondering if that might actually end up being Pietro Perilene who joins the Board of Peace. And that's very interesting to me because going back a number of years ago, I always thought that Petro Perilene would be the next pope.

And that never quite worked out, or at least it hasn't worked out as of yet. But he still could have an outsized role in the Board of Peace. And if that
does indeed happen, I'll be looking to see if he becomes closer and friendlier with Donald Trump."

OK, I'm going to say, any person aiming a laser pointer at an aircraftshould be appropriately prosecuted.

#40 The Donnerboy rule:

I need two (2) independent sources** from any Trump sycophant for any 'proof' they offer before it is even considered, much less replied to.
**Any source that contains "Trump's FBI said...", or "The DOJ announced..." or "The White House proclaimed..." - or any iteration thereof - will immediately be considered not an independent source. - Try again.
