The comparison was between the damages (ALL damages, not just monetary as you keep moving toward) caused by the 2020 riots and the J6 riot.

They are two separate things. The shooting is it's own event and past actions don't come into play.

It's childish and pathetic.

Tim Scott delivered a standard SOTU response speech. In it he said America is not a racist country. "Uncle Tim" immediately trended on social media. Clarence Thomas has been called every "race traitor" pejorative ever created. LA Times were vicious in their attacks against Larry Eldef which included calling him the black face of white supremacy. Those are true racism. And 8m sure you can find some examples of true racism coming from the right.

But accusing anyone not voting for Obama as being racist for voting instead for McCain and Romney is absurd.
