Minnesota 'hero'

The parents of Alex Pretti put out a statement defending their son from the attacks from the President of the United States. ""We are heartbroken but also very angry.

Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the hero term lightly. However his last thought and act was to protect a woman.

The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump's murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He has his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down all while being pepper sprayed.

Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you."

The entire MAGA movement and power structure needs go into their respective bathrooms, close the door, run a nice hot bath, and proceed to give themselves
the Frankie Five Angels treatment.

As they lie there soaking their final minutes away in the warm, pink water, they should be 100% certain that the empathetic society that they so despised in life will care for and support the grieving family and other loved ones they end up leaving behind.

As we've posted earlier, our colleagues at BBC Verify have analysed seven videos showing the moments leading up to and around the shooting.

The footage shows an agent pushing someone over, with Pretti standing between them and the agent while filming on his phone.

The agent pepper sprays Pretti in the face. Pretti raises his hand defensively and turns away, pockets his phone, and starts to help the woman on the floor as the agent continues spraying.

Other agents rush over. They drag Pretti away and several agents wrestle him to the floor. Pretti then tries to crawl away - he's clearly not holding a gun.

An agent in a grey jacket is seen reaching for something from Pretti's waist. Next to him, another agent draws his gun.

The agent in the grey jacket turns away from Pretti, holding what appears to be a pistol.

Less than a second later, an agent shoots Pretti. Ten shots are heard in total.

For context, after the shooting, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem gave the following description of what happened:

"An individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted. Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots."

Call your Senators right now and tell them not to support any funding of DHS until Grusty Gnome is held accountable for her lies to American people and the crimes of her Secret Police.

Tell your Senators that we do not support any Secret Police and a Government that lies to its people and murders them in cold blood in the streets of America.

ICE Agents Removed Pretti's Gun Before He Was Shot And Killed
Federal agents had removed Alex Pretti's gun before shooting him, according to analysis of the videos by The Washington Post, The New York Times and Wall Street Journal, contradicting what Homeland Security said had happened.

Eyewitness videos show Pretti was filming ICE agents having a standoff with two women. When one ICE agent began harassing the woman, Pretti stepped in to try and help her. That's when several ICE agents tackled Pretti to the ground and then shot and killed him.

Homeland Security said in a statement that Pretti, who was armed, "violently resisted" ICE agents when they tried to disarm him, and Pretti wanted to "do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement."

"Democrats demand removal of federal officers from Minnesota amid growing tensions

A federal judge issued an order blocking the Trump administration from "destroying or altering evidence" related to Saturday's shooting, after state and county officials issued a lawsuit.

The lawsuit filed by Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is meant to preserve evidence collected by federal officials that state authorities have not yet been able to inspect. A court hearing is scheduled for Monday and will take place in federal court in St. Paul.

"A full, impartial, and transparent investigation into his fatal shooting at the hands of DHS agents is non-negotiable," Ellison said in a statement."

The whole community is standing against this occupation of ICE, which is part of a divide and rule tactic that the Tr*mp regime is pushing on us because they have no answers for the real issues that working class people face. My healthcare bills will not go down because of these deportations, I won't get a job because of these deportations, my life will not improve and it doesn't make my life any better. This is about terrorizing people... I want this to end.
