The top 1% of Americans pay 40% of all federal income taxes. The top 10% pay 70%. The Bottom 50% pay 3%. Still think the rich arent paying their fair share?

You can't solve affordability by cutting taxes. Rather, we have to raise the minimum wage to Eisenhower levels (about $23.50 an hour today).

It's the only way out of our debt crises.

Let's not forget, our entire adulthood Republicans have been working to put child rearing subsidies onto the 1040.

The EITC, CTC, ACTC, AOC, and CCC are all subsidies going to parents.

They literally passed something on a Tuesday, so that on a Wednesday they could complain that "less people are paying taxes".

And math morons fell for it.

In other words, HOW MUCH does the 1% pay NOW, as opposed to 40 years ago? ACTUAL money. Not percentages.
