Lamp,
"Why do you seem to think that a wife should vote as her husband instructs her to vote?"
Sounds like this article was about women who expect him to vote like her and share her values.
Aren't you getting it backwards in this particular video?
Either way, if a couple can't handle having different political viewpoints and can't seem to resist arguing about it, they're both better off finding someone else.

"Or, maybe, he didn't really love her?"
Why do you say that?
You're saying he should change his beliefs just because he loves her?
That is absolutely no way to build a relationship.
I saw a phrase once about relationships, "Expectations can break your heart"
You must be one of those "he'll change" people going into relationships.
I saw another funny quote.
"He thinks she'll never change and she thinks he will".
Leave it to Danni to put up a thread about hating male conservatives.
To Danni...are you celebrating these couples for their losses?
Do you have any idea how many people later in life regret losing the one person who really loved them and they loved in return...but couldn't get past some trival matter or worse yet friends urged them to break up?

It's her who can't get past his beliefs in this case.

"Christian Wife Submission: Should wives submit no matter what?"
Typical of people who just want to attack Christianity. Take verses out of context. Here's the whole verse.
Ephesians 5:22 " "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it."
You ask "no matter what"...come on...use your brain on that one.

You don't use your brain, though. Let's use your Bible on that one, like you do. What's over the line? What does The Bible forbid a man to do to his wife? Surely you must know.

Here's another verse people take out of context frequently about telling children to obey their parents.
Ephesians 6:1 "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath"
I will admit when it comes to taking verses out of context and building entire displines and way's of life based on these selected verses, Christians are some of the worst for doing that.

I suppose if a couple is just playing house and not married. I guess it wouldn't apply?
Relationships are complicated. I think the point of Bible verses about marriage is to provide some structure.
Some Christians think they're earning gold stars for following the letter of the law. I guarantee God isn't so easily impressed.

My opinions are simply my opinions.

If women expect those rights, why can't a man who wants to care for his child and even be the sole provider?

Sometimes incompatible political beliefs are an indication of incompatible values. That's the conclusion I think these women who want to leave their husbands have come to. I am reminded of a line from You've Got Mail: "It's not personal, it's just business." It seems to me that a lot of people are still trying to tell themselves, "It's not personal, it's just politics." But for many other people politics under Trump isn't business as usual and is indeed very personal. Here's the scene late in the movie when Meg Ryan's character confronts the Tom Hanks' character on his earlier comment about business:
Joe Fox: It wasn't... personal. Kathleen Kelly: What is that supposed to mean? I am so sick of that. All that means is that it wasn't personal to you. But it was personal to me. It's *personal* to a lot of people. And what's so wrong with being personal, anyway? Joe Fox: Uh, nothing. Kathleen Kelly: Whatever else anything is, it ought to begin by being personal. www.imdb.com
