Europeans aren't buying Teslas. Half of America won't buy a Tesla.

WTG, both of these self-professed "very smart people."

When will Tesla stockholders boot that wannabe NAZI out? TSLA has lost half its value since the election.

Trump and the Tesla have much in common... oddly shaped, large, and fugly.

And they have also both lost billions in the last few weeks. Which way too much is made of those losses; a lot of the time taxpayers are paying for them.

Also, neither can stop themselves when they get all hot and sweaty. So there's the lawsuits.

Now if this is nothing more than a photo-opt, fine. But if any of this shows-up in a Tesla advert on TV or the Internet, then this might prove to be problematic.

Side Effects of Ketamine Could Explain a Lot About Elon Musk's Behavior
These side effects sound mighty familiar.

Less than a year after that article dropped, Musk revealed to former CNN host Don Lemon that he does, in fact, use ketamine " but as he claimed in the March 2024 interview, he has a prescription for it and only used it every other week.

Though there aren't studies into the long-term effects of prescription ketamine dosages, that would put him within the threshold that Morgan, the English psychopharmacologist, described as "regular" use that can lead to memory impairment and delusions.

Between then and now, a lot has changed for the multi-hyphenate drug enthusiast " and if he's still using his special medicine with any regularity, it could very easily be affecting his work as Donald Trump's hatchet man."

Trump? Drive? Someone in the WH press pool should inquire why he has (presumably) never learned to drive. Double-dog-dare him to do a couple laps around the Capital Building in one of Musk's toys when he declines to answer or proffers the whopper that he's the greatest driver of all time. No one has ever driven better that Donald Trump. Who am I fooling? If he does carry a "valid' drver's license in his wallet, it's about as real as his Man O'the Year Time Magazine cover he continues to display and crow about.

"what an obnoxious lie. bernie would start a trade war and threaten to take over canada."

Sure he would. Protect American jobs by limiting global competition. Sound familiar?

Trump's tariffs are driving US companies to buy from US-based manufacturers by driving up the cost of imports. The consequences from that are A) and increase in goods for US consumers, and B) a decline in the global value of the dollar.

But, it serves an ideological purpose, so politicians tethered to those causes will support them.

Bernie could take a different approach. Enabling government management of the economy-something like that-but the end result would be the same.

Let's do this. Would you have supported Dennis Kucinich's economic policies when he ran for prez in the early 2000s?

If not, why?

Bernie is appealing to emotion, not objectivity. Much like Trump is.

... It was an extraordinary scene at the White House South Lawn Tuesday. ...

And, from what I understand, quite illegal for Federal employee to advertise products.

Misuse of public office to promote products (2017)
www.citizensforethics.org

... One of the most revealing incidents involving ethics since President Trump took office was Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway's clear violation of ethics rules when she endorsed Ivanka Trump's accessories and clothing line. While Ms. Conway's violation itself was concerning, the White House's attitude toward ethics was exposed by its reaction and ultimate refusal to take any meaningful disciplinary action against her.

The incident began on February 9, when Ms. Conway endorsed Ivanka Trump's fashion products in an interview on Fox News as a way of responding to Nordstrom dropping the line and President Trump's tweet that his daughter had been treated "so unfairly." Ms. Conway first told viewers, "Go buy Ivanka's stuff is what I would tell you," and a few moments later added, "I'm going to give a free commercial here: Go buy it today, everybody; you can find it online." Ms. Conway unquestionably made these statements in her official capacity. She was introduced on the program as "Special Counselor to the President," and spoke from the White House briefing room in front of the White House seal and the American flag.

Federal ethics regulations concerning the "use of office for private gain" clearly prohibit any employee from using her government position or any authority associated with her public office to endorse "any product, service or enterprise." One example provided in the regulations even states that a government employee "may not appear in a television commercial in which she endorses" a product. ...
