Because that is exactly what is being done today.
Absolutely absurd.
You can get rid of every undocumented immigrant and Republicans would still refuse to raise minimum wage.
Undocumented immigrants aren't the problem. Greedy CEOs and billionaires are.
You're here to support the billionaires, like Musk, Trump and Putin
By the way. You seem to have skipped over explaining why minimum wages would increase. It appears you haven't a clue. You just have insistence.
Prices may rise a bit - but government spending will decrease
Prices will definitely raise, but government spending wouldn't decrease in a way to benefit Americans.
Hell, DOGE's primary objective was to cut expenses in order to justify Trump's tax cut he's trying to ram through Congress.
You seem like you're floundering. I hope someone gets you those new talking points soon.
likely a living wage.
What's a living wage? Again. Zero republicans will support raising the minimum wage and they scoff at the notion of a living wage.
Might as well insist getting rid of undocumented immigrants will usher in an era of national healthcare education and government funded basic income.
Your argument ignores half a century of Republican legislation to disenfranchise American's middle class and poor.
You really are clueless.
False
True!
it is way past time that the US stopped relying on slave labor.
But slave labor is what made America great.
Pay labor what it is worth and prioritize the construction that needs to happen
It's not gonna happen. You're just going to see a lot more hungry people and homes falling apart.
The majority of Americans aren't millionaires and billionaires who will be able to absorb the additional costs being put upon them.
Especially with Trump and Musk firing hundreds of thousands of government employees.
Saying "wages will go up" is delusional."
It is basic supply and demand.
And what exactly does that have to do with wages?
You think iPhones and teslas will suddenly become cheaper?
Or employers will pay higher wages so their employees can buy more?
You're clueless.
You truly can't fix stupid.
You're the proof
LAUSD spends ~$23,000 per kid
#44 | POSTED BY SCOTTS
"According to the Vera Institute of Justice, incarceration costs an average of more than $31,000 per inmate, per year, nationwide. In some states, it's as much as $60,000. Taxpayers foot the bill for feeding, housing and securing people in state and federal penitentiaries."

We spend more on incarceration than on education.
The biggest issue with public education is that classrooms are overcrowded and teachers are underpaid.
School districts need more money, teachers need more money, and students need smaller class sizes to get more individual attention from their teachers.
