By putting the demolition of the East Wing before the necessary approvals for his ballroom, President Donald Trump borrowed a tactic known as "stake-driving" to force an outcome.

Replace Trump's name with Biden or Obama and comment ...

You'd be blathering about "the rule of law" and other nonsense.

You're a partisan hypocrite

That's a tactic that Pres Trump has used in his real estate holdings, a tactic I heard reported that he had learned from his father.

The difference is you are a freaking moron who believes all of Trumpy's nonsense and lies and is desperate for gotcha moments. An auto pen can "decide" nothing. It has to be told what to do. Much like you!

In the federal government, the use of an autopen has been legally established for signing bills and other official documents, as long as it is done at the president's direction. If the President did not direct it he would have said so.

You all done used up this lie.

Best to move on to the next lie and distraction.

Sure. If you enjoy responding to lawsuits all your life.

Which Trumpy apparently does. He has faced thousands of lawsuits. And lost a majority of them. But that doesn't stop him. Because he apparently enjoys the attention it brings him.

Donald Trump asserts his personal greatness in large part by tearing things down.

That's what his hopefully short reign as King and Christ has been noted for thus far.

Expect a lot more of it, because tearing stuff down requires no talent, and Donald Trump has no talent in spades.

53 percent disapprove of White House East Wing demolition: Survey
thehill.com

... A majority of Americans said in a new poll they disapprove of President Trump's plans to demolish part of the East Wing in the White House to make room for his $300 million ballroom.

In the YouGov America poll, released Wednesday, 53 percent of Americans said they strongly or somewhat disapprove "of the decision to demolish part of the East Wing of the White House as part of the renovations," while 24 percent approved and 24 percent said they are unsure.

The question follows up on a separate one about "plans to renovate and build additions to the White House, including a new ballroom and a patio in the Rose Garden" -- 50 percent said they disapprove of the plans, 33 percent said they approved, and 17 percent said they are not sure. ...

When finished major events at the WH will no longer require many to be seated outside the ballroom under tents, and using portable potties, which IMO is pathetic for a country of our stature. FACT IS; the current ballroom, whihc seats only 200 has been inadequate for years.

But no worries, you libbies will continue to bitch as it is your 'wont'.... and the show will go on ; )

BecauseKing Trumpy feels he does have to ask permission to do anything that pops into his head.

Nor will he ever feel the need to ask forgiveness for anything he has done.

It's really funny that he is spending so much money and political capital on a ballroom for people who obviously can't dance.

You seem to be suggesting things were signed with the President's signature against the will of the President.
Come back when you're prepared to do more than hint at it.
What you're doing how fascists do it.
Hinting and intimating.

It probably makes sense to you to keep repeating things like "When I see a black pilot, the first thing I think is, boy, I hope he's qualified."
