New reporting reveals that Trump has plans to replace the grass on the South Lawn of the White House with a concrete helipad. The helipad is the newest addition to Trump's demolition of historical White House features like the Rose Garden, the East Wing, and the Lincoln Bedroom.

He's having demented brain-farts of a grandiose nature.

I wonder what line MAGA/GOP will impose on such expensive silliness?

Because so far they enjoy being just as demented and silly as he is.

Interesting personage, Trump.

25% of Americans dearly want him to be a god because they got tired of Jesus.

75% of Americans just wish that he'd die, be buried, and rot.

Helipad? Who said "helipad"? I don't wanna goddamn helipad at the White House! I wanna heavy-lift, 175-acre launch pad site like at Cape Canaveral, with a 347-foot-tall Trump Launch Tower. POW, right to the moon!

New York city slicker sissy doesn't want to walk on the grass with his dress shoes.

TBH it makes sense and there should already have been a pad there.

And I suspect that before this over, most all of the South Lawn will have been paved over, which will give Trump even more space to hold outdoor 'events' including UFC fights and anything else that he might deem appropriate for his new concept of the Executive Mansion. If he really wants to make the White House feel like one of his resorts, I don't know why he doesn't just tear up all ot White House grounds and put in a golf course.

What's a ballroom without strippers? Trump wants to audition young talent. What a class act.

So much for "conservative" and "conservation."

He would actually need several helipads. Marine One is actually a group of helicopters not just one flying alone. The presidents aircraft and two decoy helicopters land on the south lawn.

Marine One is actually a group of helicopters

Marine One is the one the president is on.

OK, hate to say it, but it makes sense.
The new generation of MarineOne copters are larger, more powerful and burning the WH lawn.
Not that this excuses the many other tasteless renovations he's made to the grounds.

#13 technically yes, but which of the three helicopters is the President on? The whole idea is you don't know.. they are identical and they fly in formation switching positions like a shell game. It is quite spectacular to see.
