"Thiel has enjoyed his time in Argentina so far, sources told The Times, finding common ground with the country's president over their shared disdain for taxes, socialism and progressive politics.

Milei described a recent meeting between the two positively, saying they both view "taxes as theft," Newsweek reported, citing the Buenos Aires Times."

;;

Argentine President Javier Milei has explicitly stated that he and tech billionaire Peter Thiel share the exact same philosophy, describing both of them as "anarcho-capitalists"

Ah... Theil doing what Adolph's Oligarchs did when the ---- hit the fan... move to Argentina.

Figures, he's a big fan Nazism, particularly the Nazi jurist Carl Schmitt:

Right after he helped convince Trump to bail out Argentina. Odd.

The value of ODESSA's influential Argentinian ties may have lessened over time, but, as Thiel demonstrates, the old rat lines to an "understanding" environment for horrid people remain largely intact.

They have two choices...one involves making sure the poor in Argentina have enough, and the other is to make sure the very rich have everything. So sure, he moved to where he is a god.

Interesting considering taxes pay his salary. He doesn't mind stealing to pay himself.
Quite sad how the oligarchs hate paying taxes, but love hoarding tax dollars for themselves.

One day the bodyguards of these awful oligarchs will all turn on them in one fell swoop.

Maybe not in my lifetime, but it happened to Caligula centuries ago and today the world has far too many billionaire Neros.

Ahh, just wishful thinking....

Please be careful what you wish for these days.

Look who is waiting in the wings.. It may give you pause.

I have come to accept that the only way out of The Great American FAFO that the Americans themselves voted for is straight through.

When all else fails let loose a rebel yell and just charge into the center of your enemies line yelling, "For Managed Democracy!"

The US government should cut off all contracts with Thiel's companies if he is so unwilling to fund the system his fair share that he exploits to earn his wealth

Palantir is fully interested into our government systems.

Thiel moving to Argentina doesn't change that.

#12 | POSTED BY JOHNNY_HOTSAUCE AT 2026-05-30 01:17 PM | FLAG: First of all, any and all US citizens can move to live wherever they chose [even you can]. Additionally, he does not exploit anyone, as people, like me, chose to use PayPal and others chose to invest in his companies, no one is forced to do so. His companies pay the standard corporate tax rates and they employ approximately 4500 people [i.e., tax payer's] Apparently you're another liberal with a bad case of wealth envy.

FYI:
AI Overview
Peter Thiel co-founded PayPal and Palantir Technologies, where he remains chairman. He also operates several of his own investment firms and family offices, including Founders Fund, Thiel Capital, and Valar Venture.

You'd be surprised now many US citizens are ExPats, having moved to other countries where it is less expensive to live, so their money goes farther. Even I have considered the Philippines which I I love, as well as nearby Belize.

"What makes Thiel's apparent doubts about America so notable is their timing. On the face of it, it's never been a better time to be Peter Thiel in America.

His political network is all but running Washington.

His protege JD Vance is vice president, serving President Donald Trump, whom Thiel backed in the 2016 election.

Members of the "PayPal mafia," the group of influential executives and investors tied to the payments firm, have had prominent positions inside the White House, too.

''

"Meanwhile, Thiel's companies are selling contracts to the Trump administration like hotcakes.

In the first quarter of 2026, Palantir reportedly took in $687 million from government contracts, much of it serving the Trump administration's homeland security and immigration agenda.

In March, defense tech firm Anduril, another part of the Thiel network, inked a 10-year deal with the Army worth up to $20 billion."

Guess he might as well control Argentina as well as much of the US Gov.

But hey, Trumpers love them some Oligarchs running the Gov... because you never know; THEY might be Oligarchs too, some day!

I'm really enjoying oligarchic rule, aren't you?

What more tax breaks is Peter Thiel enjoying by ensconcing himself to Argentina?

Alas and alack I sold my firearm arsenal years ago.

Peter Thiel and his cohort of covetous super-rich hi-tech plantation owners have exploited us right to the bone marrow and should be repaid in spades with hot lead therapy.

#18 | Posted by C0RI0LANUS at 2026-05-30 04:46 PM | Reply

There are no personal tax breaks by the US Treasury for relocating to another country. Expats [those Americans living in another country] still has to file and pay US income taxes. There will be no states taxes and only if he gives up his citizenship changes his tax obligation to the US treasury. Guess you are unaware of such as that required one to have a modicum, of fiscal knowledge of our tax laws. Of course if you are one of the about 40% who are exempt from paying federal income taxes it would be normal for you to be unknowledgeable on this.

No. Not really. I've considered it myself.

But Peter Thiel is not moving to Argentina to avoid paying US taxes.

Peter Thiel retains teams of elite accountants, tax attorneys, and wealth managers to handle his complex financial and tax affairs.

And he has access to the most powerful AI on the planet and the most corrupt president on the planet. Peter Thiel does not have to worry about paying taxes.

His most prominent tax strategy involves a massive Roth IRA "valued at approximately $5 billion as of 2019" that he built by heavily sheltering early PayPal stock from federal taxes. Once he reaches age 59,1/2 he can withdraw those billions completely tax-free.

FYI- Peter Thiel is 58.

Peter Thiel is moving to Argentina with his $5 billion tax free dollars because he feels he and his family will be safer living there than living in America.

And now .. you know the rest of the story..

Not really. Americans living overseas get a tax credit for any foreign income taxes paid. Shit, even owing foreign stock can get you this credit on a Form K-1 or is it K-5.

As a South African who fled the "kaffirs," Peter Thiel is doing the same with America now as he may sense imminent danger.

And with all the software at his disposal, who knows what algorithms he's read.

From Russia to Israel to Argentina to China etc etc, there is too much foreign interference in America's body politic-- and it's wide open.
