... This time, Trump's fictional story was about wind energy. He has for years railed against it, tried to thwart it and made false claims about it " including a phony anecdote about how, in places where wind power is used, people can't turn on their TVs when the wind isn't blowing. ...

Pres Trump dislikes wind turbines (the correct name for what he calls "wind mills") because he apparently does not like to see them on the horizon.

... The witnesses may begin by making a brief opening statement of two or three minutes.

Mr Trump, would you like to start?

Donald Trump Sr (Trump Organization)

Thank you. I very much appreciate the opportunity to speak. We are addressing a very serious problem. In my opinion, it is one of the most serious problems that Scotland will have or has had.

I am all for renewable energy -- I believe in wave technology and tide technology, and I believe that you have great opportunities for other forms of energy, such as hydro -- but wind turbines, made in China, will lead to the almost total destruction of Scotland's tourism industry.

Recently, a very unattractive wind turbine was put up right on the course at Royal Aberdeen Golf Club. The club did not know about it and the members are going absolutely crazy. I said, "And you haven't seen the worst. Wait till they turn it on and you hear all the noise." They do not know what to do. They did not know that it was going to happen; they were blindsided.

The fact is that I have built what I said I was going to build, except that it came out even beyond what I said. Everybody agrees with that, and I have brought some magazines that feature the course. I have spent a tremendous amount of money"the project is debt free; there is no debt on the property"building what many already consider to be the greatest golf course anywhere in the world. I do not want to see it destroyed by having 11 monstrosities built that loom over it, literally 1 mile away. The development is land based, not sea based, because when it is 1 mile away, we are talking about a land-based development. We do not want it to happen. ...

My question is this: where is the clinical evidence, not an opinion? I want an empirical assessment. Who has produced it? Will you share it with the committee?

Donald Trump

First of all, I am the evidence. You know what? I think that I am a lot more of an expert than the people who you would like me to hire, who are doing it to make a paycheck. I am considered a world-class expert in tourism. When you ask, "Where is the expert and where is the evidence?" I say: I am the evidence. ...

I was in Scotland last week. Lots of wind turbines. Lots of tourists.

Just don't talk to Okies about wind power. There are days in the Sooner or Later State where 100% of electricity consumed comes from wind power. 100%. Can it get any better?

However, it is true that Trump needs to flush every toilet 2 - 3 times.

Dunno why somebody who just poops in his diaper is whining about toilet flushes anyway.

Remember when Republicans used to throw a fit and cry about braindead Joe when Biden would tell a story with an exaggeration or mixed up detail?

We've got Mitch McConnell in the hospital literally brain dead and Trump remembering things that never happened and making up countries that don't exist (the Islamic Republic of Japan) but republicans sit silently while we all have to live with a country being ran by Abe Simpson.

Maybe his staff turned off his TV and told him it was a massive outage just to get him to stop watching for two hours ... ?

Yes, I remember the miraculous recovery was evidence the entire event was staged, except for the dead people part.

Is that what you believe? It was staged?

Yes---

1) It's exactly something that Donald would do.

2) Dead people mean nothing to Donald.

I'll continue, if provoked.

Donald Trump would no more fake an assassination attempt than he would try to steal $1.8 Billion from the US Treasury.

Gee Zed....I'd love for you to bring out your dolls and we can roll play and pretend for a while.......but not going to happen today.

I'm not going down that rabbit trail with you. You simply are not serious enough of a poster to engage in that manner. We can do drive-by waves like this but that's as far as I'm going with you. You're simply too insane to engage otherwise.

You're not interested in my position on this issue. If you were, you'd already know it. Previously, we've both gotten into this issue several times. My position is well known to anybody who gives a ----.

Or at least can remember.

You're either completely psycho or you're struggling with memory issues, Zed.

" Is that what you believe? It was staged?"

If you can address the half-dozen suspicious happenstances, go ahead.

Start with photographers being rounded up to the best angle, move on to the flag being lowered AFTER the shot rang out, and finish with how an ear can regrow cartilage for the first time in history.

No, I'd rather just ask a simple question, watch it get ignored by the person I addressed it to, then watch others come in like you and Zed with your attempts to drag me down that road.

so far, it's working perfectly.

The bloody ear is straight out of the Professional Wrestling playbook.
If you don't know about the connections between Trump and the McMahons that's on you.
His ear wasn't bleeding when Trump went down.
It also clearly wasn't hit by a bullet based on how it healed.

The people wearing maxi pads on their ears, all of whom are die-hard Trumpers, did a good job distracting themselves and others from the plausibility of the scenario.

I don't think that Trump got hit wioth anything at all.

This is likely the least documented assassination attempt of a president, ever.

The amount of solid information released about compared to the hype Trump began generating about it, IMMEDIATELY, is telling.

There's going to have to be a national discussion about the meaning and implications of sociopathy. We've dealt with Trump in an ignorant and self-destructive manner.

Just saw "the Odyssey".

The character that most resembles Donald Trump in emotion in behavior is Polyphemus, the cannibal Cylcope.

We might survive Donald Trump but we won't survive another one of him in quick succession. We have to stop being kids, or willing victims, and be much smarter about human beings.
