your equivocation is noted, but obviously its more complicated ...
As far as I can tell ...
1. Officer notices weapon on suspect being detained.
2. One of the officers yells "GUN".
3. Officer removes the weapon from the suspect, carries it away from incident (not communicated, is this norma? idk seems like if had another him saying something would be a problem).
4. The big question is the first round firing.
Accidental discharge from officer that had removed the weapon (not alot of evidence, but weapon is known for hair trigger).
OR When suspect reaches back to where the weapon was, officers not knowing if suspect is weaponless (or even if first weapon was removed)
5. LEO training all rounds discharged.
From remaining video suspect had no other weapon.
So questions are he had the right to carry weapon, was it a good idea? Was he being a responsible gun owner? What do they teach about CCW and dealing with officers, you know the answer? Not blaming the victim, but there are lots of mistakes all around.
