Pair testify that Pretti did not hold weapon and was trying to help woman federal agents had shoved to the ground
A person who said they witnessed federal agents shoot and kill Alex Jeffrey Pretti submitted a sworn statement in court disputing the federal government's account of the shooting. "I have read the statement from DHS about what happened and it is wrong," the person said in the statement.[image or embed]

"[the male nurse] was not brandishing a weapon when he approached federal agents in Minneapolis on Saturday, contradicting a claim made by Trump administration officials"
The video I saw shows he's wasn't brandishing as he approached, but it looked like he was grabbing for something in his pants (on his holster side?) shortly after (40 second mark).
Does it offer a possible clue as to why he was shot ten times?

You gotta clean the gun after it's fired anyway, so might as well empty the mag.
Do I Need to Clean My Gun After Every Use?
Yes, cleaning your gun after every use is highly recommended and, in most cases, essential for maintaining its performance, reliability, and longevity. Neglecting regular cleaning allows fouling, including powder residue, lead deposits, and copper shavings, to accumulate, leading to malfunctions, decreased accuracy, and potential damage to the firearm.
