What comment (a number would be helpful) are you quoting?

It's in the thread article. Lewzer said the "Presidential Medal Of freedom" is the civilian equivalent of the CMOH, which it most certainly is not.

It's a trinket handed out at the whim of the president o his friends, for the most part. That said, here are also some who deserved it.
