If a foreign power were threatening to do to American Samoa what the Orange Emperor is threatening to do to Greenland, I'd move troops there.

It is rational for Denmark to do that for Greenland, a constituent country, just like Wales is a constituent country of the UK.

The pandemic is the obvious place to start.

It is convenient for MAGA to forget that it was possible to hold the number of deaths here to between 50-70 thousand in 2020.

Other countries were able to mitigate COVID. We were the exception among advanced societies.

It is convenient for MAGA to forget that for about a year we were all waking up in the morning worried that Donald had started a war with North Korea.

It is convenient for MAGA to forget the ballistic missile scare in Hawaii.

It is also convenient for MAGA to forget that Donald attempted to start a war with Iran, in order to bolster his re-election chances.

It is convenient for MAGA to forget that there was a massive Iranian ballistic attack on US bases that wounded scores of servicemen.
