Donald Trump vowed to slash grocery prices as soon as he took office, yet he has barely addressed the cost of food in the whirlwind of executive orders he signed in his first week.

More: But the scores of executive orders Trump has signed since Inauguration Day only briefly touch on food, Warren, D-Mass., said in the letter, which was co-written by Rep. Jim McGovern, D-Mass., and signed by a total of 20 Democrats.

"Your sole action on costs was an executive order that contained only the barest mention of food prices, and not a single specific policy to reduce them," they wrote, citing a Trump administration memo that commits to helping with Americans' cost of living by eliminating "harmful, coercive climate' policies driving up the costs of food and fuel."

Everything Trump's done in the last two weeks will increase food prices.

The only people stupid enough to believe this would remotely happen are people like Fishpaw, who were adamant during the election that Project 2025 had nothing to do with Trump and Trump wasn't going to implement it because he said he wouldn't but now that he is they chirp that Trump is doing what he campaigned on (despite him explicitly denying it...) and they support Project 2025.

They're stupid, proudly so, and will flop around in the Trump breeze to align with whatever BS they don't understand he tells them he's going to do.

Trump unsurprisingly fails to immediately lower food prices

Has he tried skipping dinner? That should have an immediate impact on the Big Mac and french fry supply.

Trump supporters would rather pay $7 for a dozen eggs (limit one dozen per customer) just so they can 'own the libs', laughing all the way home from the Food Lion to their single-wide in the pine barrens, secure in the knowledge that they will be getting high speed internet by 2027. As for gasoline prices, it has now been decided by King Dotard II, Inc., that those prices are low enough already, to which the MAGA Hat Horde simply nods their heads and opens another Shiner or Coors Light.

Meanwhile, in Cobb County, parents are wondering if the financial aid to Junior or Sissy will cut off their access to Kennesaw State or Georgia Southern. That little taste of owning the Libs has come a little too close for some Trump supporters, and will probably come a lot closer in coming months. Too bad...

There were complaints and discussions about prices and inflation. But it included discussions of how inflation was brought down to near normal levels, something you're too intellectually dishonest to acknowledge.

So you post some stupid meme while ignoring the fact that a frequently made promise by Trump is clearly BS and try to spin a "but but but Dems" whine to sooth your sycophantic soul.

As of this morning, a dozen A-grade eggs at my local supermarket were $5.74 for a dozen. The refrigerated case was " stocked," yet the kid that was fluffing the display said the entire egg stock would be empty by 3pm, and each daily delivery was becoming noticeably smaller. I'm getting a uncomfortable feeling we've been here before, only this time it's going to test us as a nation and society to keep even usually plentiful items stoked on the shelves, and naked price-gouging to become rampant. For the record, I dtopped eggs from my diet some diet years ago under advice from my doctor, but how long before something else I do still enjoy consuming becomes uncomfortably scarce regardless of price?

So, none of the MAGAs are concerned about cultting trillions in revenue to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy and understand the direct effect that has on inflation. So, in other words, the MAGA's complaints about inflation were jusure parttisan*pplitics and If the MAGAs ever want to see their own or their children's lives better they will have to move past such partisanw income group they want to get ahead and support all low income groups getting ahead! Unfortunately, MAGAs, you got a little work to do there. Too much resentment when a black or brown person gets a promotion. You have to stop resenting promwithout racism of any kind!otions ans start celebrating them regardless of skin color and black and brown people need to stop resenting when white people get ahead! We would all do better t demand billionaires pay their without racism of any kind! But wealthy Americans know, if they can keep us hating each other, we won't dee, car payment, car insurance, propemand that billionaires pay their fair share in taxes; like the same percentage a parent with three kids earning $40,000 pays. Oh no, billionaires would call that highway robbery even though they cam pay it with zero personal pain or discomfort. But that wage earner earning $40,000 has real problems meeting all the BASIC expenses they need to; like rent or mortgage, car payment, car insurance, property insurance; required by mortgage company, day care for kids, etc. Excuse me, but do any of you feel billionaires are overtaxed?
FBI
Let's think about that for a moment; do you feelthat the police, FBI,ARE AS CONCERNdE ABOUT YOUR SAFESTY as they are about billionaires? If you do, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale! Point being, we spend far more proportionately protecting the very rich than the rest of us and why shouldn't they pay for it?
Furthermore: Do you honestly believe our courts are unbiased towards the rich proprty owners or that our entire legal system, so dependend up on professional legal representation doesn't benefit those who can afford legal representation as opposed to those who can't.
