America not giving trials or hearings to whom the Constitution demands is a simple dictatorship.
We see what you're doing here, Adolph.

Did Trump think that he was so much smarter than every other president, democrat or republican, that has ever had to deal with this problem? This predicament that he has found himself in is what happens when arrogance makes you think that you are the smartest person in the room and you surround yourself with dumbass yes men and women afraid of their own shadow.
But, considering he had to find a way of staying out of prison, he said whatever needed saying and blames his failure on the judicial system. When viewed from this perspective, he played a losing hand smartly.

"We cannot give everyone a trial, because to do so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years,"
And why is that a problem?
President Trump can just keep them in detention camps indefinitely, until their trial date in 2389.

Is that why he's been firing all these immigration judges? So he can point and say "It'll take 200 years!"?

Of course America can give everyone a trial. Trumpf was tried three or four times and he's only one schmuck.

... We cannot give everyone a trial, ...
Yes, we can.
Because the Constitution says so, and the Supreme Court ruled unanimously (9-0 decision) that everyone is entitled to due process.
