It's clear the GOP has an agenda on this and so do the dems and I side with the dems in objecting to one. If there were real documented cases of voter fraud that impacted the outcome of an election, then I'd consider jumping on the other side of the issue.

But if this was a real serious issue to folks, then the democrats who are fighting against voter ID would be worried about losing their seats.

They're not.......and why? Because their constituents, who overwhelmingly seem to support voter ID, don't care enough about the issue to shift their support elsewhere.

LOL....I sat on our local chamber board for a term about 8-10 years ago.

On the board with me was the local community college president.

When we were discussing what projects to approve the funding for he opines once, "Well, I'm really a Libertarian". Everyone else just kept talking.....but I stopped everyone and asked him if I heard him correctly. "Did you just refer to yourself as a Libertarian? A community college president? Have you even read on the principles of a libertarian? Because I'm pretty sure there is zero chance you're one."
