Thx for posting, Corky. The phrases victims use are formulae for warding off thoughtcrime: repeatedly murmuring "fake mews," garlic in a pocket to scare off the malocchio, spilled salt tossed over the shoulder, etc.

I feel like a broken record; it's their addiction to Fox News. Our country is openly allowing one billionaire destroy the oldest democracy on the plane t. Rupert Murdoch is their puppetmaster. This country will not return to sanity until his hpld on millions of minds is ended.

People who think in terms of "alternate facts" live in an alternate reality. Short, of a personal catastrophe - and even that of dubious effect - reaching them is a tough one, considering it wasn't smarts that got them there in the first place.

The fact Trump supporters are turning on Trump because of high gas prices and not because he's a pedophile tells you a lot about the moral fiber of conservative Americans.

"The House was poised to pass a measure to end Trump's war of choice with Iran. But"rather than hand Trump a loss & stop this unpopular war"Republican leadership pulled down the vote.
They'd rather bow to Trump's will than stand up for Americans. This isn't over. We'll keep pushing to end this war."
;; These Congress 'people', and I use the term loosely are intent on hanging onto their jobs and their sweet handouts and Golden Parachutes from Oligarchs and Corporations (again, I repeat myself)... but if the Speaker is having to shut down the House every other day because the Party in control can't get their sht together, it might get interesting.
Like that Chinese Curse.

What if you don't listen to Trump's speeches or read a lot of commentary?
What if you mostly read news and listen to people you know who are educated and well read?
He's making some very simplistic assumptions about people.
Bring back the Redneck Liberal.

"He's making some very simplistic assumptions about people."
Let's make some simplistic assumptions and see if you can refute them.
Name any topic on which people have "gotten through" to you and you changed your mind, since 2017.

Snoofy,
"Name any topic on which people have "gotten through" to you"
Really?
You must think a lot of yourself to give me directions.

Corky posted a link about a potential Democrat candidate I thought was interesting.
Nothing you've said has been interesting though.
