In 1960, the Israeli Mossad abducted Argentina resident Adolf Eichmann for crimes this German citizen perpetrated in Poland and then was tried, convicted, and executed in Israel, a country that did not exist during the commission of those crimes against humanity, the Holocaust.

This falls under "universal jurisdiction" which NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani can implement when he orders the NYPD to arrest ICC-indicted war criminal Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. The Queens or Manhattan DA would seek a bench warrant based on the INTERPOL Red Notice for Netanyahu.

Once the warrant is issued, the NYPD ESU will then arrest Netanyahu. Once detained, the ICC will be notified and the NYPD and ICC will arrange the defendant's extradition to the Hague.

Lastly, a few years ago a young Irish peacekeeper in UNIFIL got separated from his convoy at night and ended up in a Lebanese village. Thinking the vehicle was Israeli, the village residents began pelting it with rocks and stones. An individual then opened fire on the vehicle, killing the poor guy.

When Lebanese Hezbollah found out what happened, within two weeks they found the man responsible for killing Private Sean Rooney and handed the suspect over to Lebanese Army G2 for prosecution on the charge of murder.
