As long as he is hogging the Media from Harris, he cares not a whit how.

Although him being a pig isn't really news, it's entertainment, which is cosmically more important to his base than news.

It's weird how Ivy League law schools pump out right-wing losers like Vance, Cruz, (Ben) Shapiro, Josh Hawley, the MAGAt wing of the Supreme Court (minus Barrett, who of course went to Notre Dame), et., etc. The idea the Ivy League is a factory for left-wing ideologues is b.s.

The statutory definition of rape in New York requires penile penetration. That is what why Trump filed his bogus defamation suit against Carroll the court dismissed the case. Forcing fingers into a woman's crotch is within the common understanding of rape and wasn't defamatory to someone found to have committed sexual assault.

All roaming our streets thanks to Uncle Joe.

Wow, and who's fault is it that the GOP-authored Immigration Reform Bill was nuked with its provisions of addressing the broken migration system when he told Republicans to vote against their own bill?

But better yet, why don't we read the document where ICE compiled all their bureaucratic statistics along with explanation of the current laws they operate under which would have been enhanced in the Trump-killed bill.

Your letter requests the number of noncitizens on ICE's docket convicted or charged with a crime. As of July 21, 2024, there were 662,566 noncitizens with criminal histories on ICE's national docket, which includes those detained by ICE, and on the agency's non-detained docket. Of those, 435,719 are convicted criminals, and 226,847 have pending criminal charges. Please refer to the following chart. It is important to note that detention determinations are made using a few guidelines.

First, ICE is bound by statutory requirements not to release certain noncitizens from ICE custody during the pendency of removal proceedings and notes that most noncitizens who are convicted of homicide are typically not eligible for release from ICE custody under 236(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Second and in limited circumstances when 236(c) does not apply, ICE officers may use their discretion in making custody determinations and release noncitizens with conditions. ICE custody determinations are made on a case-by-case basis and take into account the individual case circumstances, primarily considering risk of flight, national security threat, and threat to public safety. ICE takes other factors into consideration as well, including when a noncitizen has a serious medical condition, is the primary caregiver of minor children, or other humanitarian considerations.

You also requested ICE's current detention capacity. Under the DHS appropriations bill enacted on March 23, 2024, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) is funded at 41,500 beds through the rest of the fiscal year (FY), which is an increase from 34,000 in FY 2023.

Regarding the number of declined detainers since FY 2021, from October 1, 2020, through July 22, 2024, ICE lifted1 24,796 detainers. Of those, 23,591 were declined by state and local law enforcement agencies, and 1,205 were lifted due to insufficient notice to ICE. Additionally, from October 1, 2020, through July 22, 2024, ERO issued 2,897 detainers that were declined by state or local law enforcement agencies and where the subject of the detainer had a subsequent apprehension by ERO.

Thank you again for your letter. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact the ICE Office of Congressional Relations at CongressToICE@ice.dhs.gov.

So a process of American citizens in full understanding of their role as citizens and members of their own communities, working within the statutory regulations of existent law has led to the statistics revealed on the charts.

These polls are well within the margin of error. Don't trust them.

The only poll that matters is your vote this election. Plan your vote now. Check to see if you weren't removed from the voter rolls and still registered. Make sure your polling location hasn't been eliminated. If you vote absentee make sure you mail it back weeks before it is due since Trumper postmaster general Louis DeJoy is doing his best not to deliver your ballots on time.

" It's funny to me that you tout the likes of Lindsay Graham when he says something you like."

I've never touted Lindsay Graham for ANY reason. Why lie?

Is your lying pathological? It sure seems like it.

And when you get immediately fact-checked, why do you NEVER have the class to respond to that poster and admit you were wrong?

Total dick move.

"You despise Republicans."

I despise crooks and liars.

Pretty much all the Republicans have left. Crooks like Trump, and liars like you.

It doesn't inspire confidence in democracy when your cult leader calls says its fraud whenever he loses.

Trump is Chicken Little.

Instead of the sky falling, the entire country is in the middle of a dystopian, doomsday nightmare of bogeymen around every corner.

Danforth has become quite the ankle biter. Honestly, I didn't see that coming.

#89 | Posted by BellRinger at 2024-09-28 07:10 AM

the guy kicks your ass on a regular basis, jeff. you are a pathetic liar now.

#90 | Posted by Alexandrite at 2024-09-28 07:20 AM

It's funny to me that you tout the likes of Lindsay Graham when he says something you like.

Why is it "funny" to you when someone brings truth into a discussion regardless of the source? If Trump says "2+2=4" you expect us to reflexively oppose it just because he said it?

You repeatedly show that you have neither the intellectual capacity nor honesty to be considered a serious arbiter of anything other than half-truths, distortions and gaslighting. Perhaps try reading and comprehending just who said what and why instead of emoting like an impetuous child wanting the security of their blankee when confronted by actual facts and reality outside your desired narratives. I mentioned Lindsey, not Danforth, but he's an ankle biter? Not in the least, that would be you.

The American experiment in tri-cameral government is based on incremental change - sometimes over the course of decades and centuries - not wholesale change wanted by a minority which refuses to compromise unless they get everything they want immediately, just like the impetuous child mentioned above.

"Some of this cast of characters make me almost miss Niceville." - #92 | Posted by anton at 2024-09-28 11:02 AM

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted or oil

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375F (190C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; it's okay if the batter is a bit lumpy.

Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.

Spoon the batter into the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Tony,

"The question is, was it better than this?"

You do realise you're admitting Biden and Harris botched handling the border.

Piss off, loser.

I'm the only one who's presented actual facts into the argument as to the ridiculous immigration bill in the Senate that went nowhere and would have codified this unsustainable situation had it passed. You are a cheerleader and nothing h more. Screw you and all of your ilk who view all of this purely as a team sport and nothing more.

Yeah i missed that.

What I heard him saying that having a border hill would be better than not having one. Even if it wasn't perfect.

But twice impeached convicted felon Trumpy was having none of that. It's too much of a political football for Trumpy to let anyone even try and fix it.

@#97 ... I'm the only one who's presented actual facts into the argument ...

If your current alias was actually doing that, then it would be quite new behavior for the comments it posts.
