#1: Hi Doc, true what you wrote. Francis was the first Jesuit to ever sit in the Chair of St. Peter and the Jesuits oppose Opus Dei. How will Trumpf and papally-snubbed snubbed JD Vance react? Will US flags be flown at half-mast? Too bad Trumpf's birthday is in June. The Sacred College of Cardinals would have selected the new pope before 14 June. "At 7:35 this morning, the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the home of the Father. His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and of his Church, Ferrell said.

Francis, who suffered from chronic lung disease and had part of one lung removed as a young man, was admitted to Gemelli hospital on Feb. 14, 2025, for a respiratory crisis that developed into double pneumonia. He spent 38 days there, the longest hospitalization of his 12-year papacy.

I've had many issues with the Catholic Church over the years but this Pope wasn't one of them. Francis was an influential critic of Israel's mass atrocities in Gaza. He repeatedly called for investigations into genocide allegations and routinely denounced the bombing of hospitals and the murder of humanitarian workers and civilians.
He was an advocate for moral clarity and a huge PR problem for Israel, a supremacist regime founded on violence lies and deceit.

One can only hope that another fearless and compassionate human being such as Francis will be announced as the next leader of the Catholic Church.

"You want to have a pope who's good on TV," Trump said. "The Fox & Friends' people are the best TV people in the business."

Trump seemed to disqualify co-host Ainsley Earhardt, commenting, "I don't know if you can have a girl pope. No knock on Ainsley, but I don't think people are ready for that."

Alternatively, he added, "Maybe go with Doocy--he looks like he's never had sex."

It happened to be a Jesuit Priest who interviewed me as was required for a non-Catholic about to marry a Catholic girl. This was in his office at their University at Santa Clara.

He was basically the Irish priest straight out of the old John Wayne movie about the American boxer who moves to Ireland... a cane. a dog, books crowding every shelf.

I was a young suit working there in the Valley, a little coked up, and he pegged me right away.

His first words to me as he leaned forward across his desk were, "The World is trying to do THIS to you"... and he shot me The Finger!

Of the top few candidates to become Pope now, one is already a Trump loyalist, and another is persuadable. Which fits the long held AC narrative that the character of the False Prophet who supports the AC is... a Pope
