Standing Up would be cutting aid until conditions are met.

No bombing civilians. A Cease fire for starters.

Allow food and medicine into Gaza. No more Flour Massacres.

No new Settlements. This is basic stuff.

If Israel was any other country we would be Sanctioning them at the minimum.

If they were a Muslim Theocracy we would be bombing.

So.It. Goes.

Anyone may cross the border and claim asylum.

Claiming Asylum grants The individual a work authorization until their hearing 5-6 yrs out.

One plan is to judicially legislate it away, from the bench.

In Congress, the Republicans in The House haven't made their plans or their hearings public.

By the way this is what Jeff firmly believes is behind Democrats border policies:

en.wikipedia.org

The Cloward"Piven strategy is a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. It is the strategy of forcing political change to societal collapse through orchestrated crises. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, amassing massive unpayable national debt, and other methods such as unfettered immigration, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Can anyone spot the racism in Jeff's beliefs?

That sounds like the PNAC Document.
PNAC says America needs a Pearl Harbor Level Event, before we will support War in Iraq.
We got that on 9/11, on Bush's watch.
Naturally, JeffJ has found it necessary to blame this on Democrats, ever since.

Actually they were advocates for the poor and "Also in 1966, he and Piven published a paper in the May issue of The Nation magazine " "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty",[6] which advocated wiping out poverty by increasing demands on the federal government, leading to implementation of a guaranteed minimum income."

Republicans, being white men, mostly just don't care about racism.
Because it doesn't affect them personally, and because they generally lack empathy.
They mostly care about themselves, and even then, mostly just about how much they are paying in taxes.
Since nothing much else the government does is impactful in their white male dominant society.

Much of the fanatic right-wing white christian nationalism should be viewed through the lens of forcing women back into the home and out of the work force.

1. Overturn abortion-women have much less ability to choose when they get pregnant.
2. Refuse to fund or subsidize child care so that women cannot work out of the home as they raise children
3. Anti-vax & Anti-Public Education-Destroy public education so that more kids are homeschooled forcing women to remain at home.
4. Outlaw no-fault divorce so women are stuck at home in failed marriages.
to name a few examples

The goal is a bible based concept of "family" and a woman's role

Oh and they are far closer than you realize to implementing this madness.

Democrats and radical leftists hate when a society is made up of equals, which is non divisive and is unifying. They want society to be fragmented into winners who must get subsidized. They want their chosen special demographics to have special privileges of weeks and months and. be considered a protected class with special recognition.

Democrats want and specialize in national divide. Americans in a land of freedom and equality need to shove that concept where we will never ever accept it.

Alexandrite,

My first exposure to replacement theory was an article in a left wing publication (I think it was the Atlantic but I'm not positive about that). The gist of the article was that our minority population is increasing at a faster rate than our white population and given current voting trends will eventually create a permanent Dem majority. It's something that I'd seen touted gleefully by lefties over the years and I was honestly surprised that it somehow got branded as racist when Trump brought it up.

#222 | Posted by BellRinger at 2024-03-11 09:59 PM | Reply

It wasn't even an immigration issue. It was a simple analysis of reproductive rates amongst various racial demographics and analyzing it the trends decades out if the numbers are to hold

That stupid bill didn't do squat to secure the border nor does Biden need it to secure the border. It's just a stupid ass talking point that lefties are desperately clinging to to try and soften this as a campaign issue. Fact is lefties love a de facto open border.
#147 | POSTED BY BELLRINGER

You've bought into all the GOP talking points and lies on the border and continuously attempt to promote them here:

Ron Filipkowski
@RonFilipkowski

Here's Trump in 2019 describing the border under his watch as a "crisis," talking about how many migrants had criminal records, asking Congress to pass the same border bill he now opposes since 1.1 million migrants were released into the US on his watch due to inadequate funding.

Interestingly, he says that CONGRESS has to pass these things in order to secure the border, because he doesn't have the legal authority or funding to do it as president. Which is the exact opposite of what he claims now.

I do. Start a thread on it; I'll certainly comment, and agree with you on Joe's Democratic Math.

And the fact you're pointing it out proves MY point: you can't have an honest debate if you're not willing to start with a truthful description.

In the latter situation, Biden is making up a new concept of taxation: net worth, not annual gains. His results aren't accurate because he started with a false assumption. Sound familiar?

Strange, the folks who actually DEAL with the issue thought it would at least address the problems. Even the Republicans on the negotiating committee admitted the terms were better than they'd be able to get past a filibuster if Trump were the President. Of course, that's STUNNING if you understand politics.

What do you know the professionals on the ground don't? And what's your source for this inside knowledge?
