Pres Trump has been railing against DEI for months because he asserts that DEI places incompetent people into positions that they are not qualified for.

While I disagree with the characterization that Pres Trump places on DEI, I do have another question.

Is Pres Trump placing incompetent people into positions, not because they are qualified for those positions, but because of some unrelated ~feature~ of that person, usually unfettered loyalty to Pres Trump and not loyalty to the Constitution?

So, is Pres Trump replacing DEI with LTM ("loyalty to me"), apparently doing just what he says is the problem with DEI?
