Progressive Senator Bernie Sanders addressed attendees, and rock icon Bruce Springsteen performed at the event, along with folk singer Joan Baez.

I went to three today. We had that many scheduled within easy reach. One I walked to. All three were excellent and peaceful.

The police at the main one however were total scum fascist pigs. They thought it'd just be a great idea to target any driver that honked in support of the protest and give them a ticket for disturbing the peace. Over $100 ticket. Motorcycle cops lined on on a sidewalk, and another bunch on the street pointing out which car honked - then the chase was on.

I hope they find out who authorized that - who was behind it - and we or someone in power fires that ------- fascist ----.

All in this glorious "Free State of Florida."

What caught my attention and I thought was significant were the number of issues that the protesters (myself included) are so angry about. I saw signs about: ICE; the insane price of gasoline; TSA lines; the crashing stock market; MAGAts; the illegal war with Iran; the real prospect of possible American soldier boots on the ground in Iran; the SAVE Act which Trump is trying to force into law; the failure by Trump to focus on deporting actual serious or violent criminals and instead illegally pretty much anyone they can get their hands on; Pete Hegseth Stephen Miller and Pam Bondi; tax cuts for the rich while the rest of us are drowning in debt; and the list goes on and on.

People are REALLY REALLY pissed. And pretty much everyone blames Donald Trump and his joy-boy friends. There is no way for Trump's supporters to put enough lipstick on that pig.

Former D/NCTC Joe Kent is spot on about Israeli access in Wash DC and their differing agenda from the US.

I was pleasantly surprised by his elocution. I counted perhaps one "you know" or "um" in those ~15 minutes.

The cat photo bomb was great.

I am unable to discuss specifics, but when I was in the USIC, after I read some Israeli intelligence reports for the first time, I never read them again.

In all of my 27 years in the USIC, I cited only one Israeli report in my investigations or analysis which came from their Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. They posted a warning to Israeli citizens in a Maghreb country to exercise caution because of a reported terrorism threat. (https//:mfa,gov,il).

Otherwise I completely ignored Israeli intelligence reports.

I don't recall any of my colleagues citing their reports either.

Our NATO allies and the Jordanians provided excellent raw reporting. NATO finished intel products are just as good as ours.

Except for one misstep regarding Afghanistan, Jordan's Mukhabarat was a superb intelligence partner for the US during my tenure.

I added up all the reported arrests and it was under 100. That works out to be 0.00125%. That's PERCENT, so a that means 0.0000125.

Given how the police behaved here I would have understood if we had a conflict or two and an arrest, but we didn't. The commitment to not engage with the police in any way was constantly reinforced. Some police are really determined to provoke, though - or even kill us.
