Constitution of the United States of America - Article I, Sec. 8

It's in those pocket editions of the document Republican pols yank from their pockets and wave around while wagging a finger and lecturing people about stuff they pretend is between the covers.

But actually execute on their constitutional responsibilities? Seriously?

Canada PM Mark Carney spent the better part of two years "Trumpf-proofing" his economy and the provinces are all on board with PM Carney across party lines. This won't hurt Canada as much as Trumpf would like.

And for years, wildfires from red-neck Alberta have spread smoke all over Canada and the US.

Dummkopf Trumpf wasn't concerned about annexing Alberta or Canada during his First Reign of Terror (2017-2021) over wildfire smoke, caused by this 2019 inferno for example.

Moreover, for years Canadian firefighters from various provinces have flown down to help us combat our fires, like the LA blazes two years ago.

A De Havilland Canadair 515 firefighter plane was damaged by an American idiot flying a drone in Orange County.

Pres Trump has not a clue how to treat long-term allies.

Shortly after the July 4 severe storms rolled through Connecticut, Canadian utility workers were working side-by-side with local utility workers to restore power here.

Pres Trump, imo, has not a clue about friendship.

Neither does Canada. You'd think DialAgain would care about the tonnes of CO2 released, but he'd rather talk about the Lewzer than actually help the environment.

And people in Wyoming -- never mind voting for the Democrats -- ought to be voting for the Green Party to protect their beautiful and bountiful natural resources.

Trump's idea of a forest is Central Park. He thinks raking the leaves is forest management.
Calling him dumb as dirt is an insult to dirt.

Trump's idea of a forest is Central Park.

That's a large part of the issue.

Canada has always been the he best friend any country could want but now his crazy old man is destroying our relationship with them just because he's crazy!!
Somehow the people of this country have got to drive this lunatic from office while we still have what s left of it! EVERYONE should get an American flag and display it upside down on every house. Apartment, car, truck, boat, whatever!
They should stay that way until he has the decency to resign like Nixon did, like Johnson refusing to seek a second term! He could salvage a tiny bit of dignity and respect if he did, If he doesn't he will be remembered as the most selfish ----- ever elected President! We the people need to find creative ways to tell him that constantly; morning, noon and night. Everywhere he goes! And his sychophants in the media need to feel their fame and fortune slipping away!

But our President insults their country and calls their liquor "sh***y which, considering he doesn't drink. He has no idea about it! For some odd reason that clueless old man wants to alienate our closest national friend! His behavior towards that nation is bizarre, to say the least!

Yup.

I just hope that our friendship with Canada survives Pres Trump's reign.

The 50 per cent rate is being imposed in response to what a senior administration official described as Canada's retaliation against U.S. trade policy

So this one of those, "He hit me back first" scenarios?

Canada's military was the only nation that stuck with us in Afghanistan until nearly the end. They have a whole bunch of veterans of that conflict "burdening" their medical system too. They fought against the Nazis for two years before the USA. I love Canada. It's not perfect, but in a world where utopia doesn't exist and never has, it comes closer than the USA.

While Canada kindly harbored 30,000 young American draft dodgers during the Vietnam War -- not military deserters or AWOLees -- 30,000 Canadians volunteered for the US armed forces and fought alongside us in SE Asia while Dummkopf Trumpf was counting his father's ill-gotten pelf and curiously looking in the dictionary for the term "bone spurs."

"What's that, Dad?"
