The USSS took reported Iranian threats against Dummkopf Trumpf seriously.

But Turkish security services are experienced and well-informed.

They would have dissuaded Iranian actors from perpetrating an attack on an honored guest on their sacred soil.

Moreover, the IRGC-QF or MOIS would not want to offend powerful Turkiye with such an effront.

Once the poltroon clears Turkish airspace, AF1 would have become a FFZ for the IRGC-QF.

Members of the Turkish security services can be quite unkind to adversaries.

I'd like to contrast Trump's behavior with that of Hitler, who shrugged off assassination attempts as being an expected feature of his job, and experienced more than fifty of them.

We've all seen photos of him standing upright in an open car, two meters away from thronging crowds.

Hitler put up with the risk because he wanted to demonstrate his strength to others; to prove that he was physically brave.

Um...Trump isn't interested in that.
