This is well known. Why is this even news?

What I don't understand is why the judicial system just lets the fraudsters go, even if jury finds them guilty?

The Pedo47 White House is nothing but corruption.

DeSanturd stole $10,000,000 of Medicaid funds meant for poor children and funneled it into his wifes "charity" who donated it to a PAC to use to kill the legalized marijuana bill.

Brett Favre arranged to have Mississippi welfare funds used to build a volleyball facility for his daughter's college.

Let's not leave out Bob Menendez and his gold bars.

Let's not forget Alito, Keggenaugh, Clearance Thomas and John Roberts and all the corrupt money they've collected.

I'm sure there are plenty of cases in local and county governments...even my own town the supervisor was caught with a garbage bag stuffed full with $18,000 in small bills.

Then there's Thom Hobags of cash and his $50,000 bribe.

So yes...its all corrupt.

Yeah democrats.

They made businesses required to reveal who owns them, to help prevent corruption. Guess what trump and the republicans did? They killed that rule.

Democrats created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to protect average americans from wall street sociopaths. Guess what republicans did to it?

Democrats hired more IRS employers to go after rich tax cheats. Guess what republicans did to that?

See the pattern yet stupid?

-Substantial majorities of Republicans, Democrats and independents agree

don't misunderstand what you think people are saying.

They think government is corrupt. You are hearing them say "republicans are corrupt"

and why? because they are in charge and this % spiked since Trump was elected again....and you posted this so you think this is good news for democrats.

But that's not what they are saying.

The "majorities of republicans" are NOT switching parties over this "corruption"

As long as Members are profiting, personally, I doubt they'll do much about it.
Same with SCOTUS.

America will continue to fail.

China couldn't be happier to do business with the countries we used to be allies and trade partners with.

Not a single republican can state a positive thing Trump has done for America and yet they're all still certain Harris would have been worse.

They will vote for Trump in 2028 should he run again.

The will vote for every republican candidate who put us in this mess, all over again, expecting things to get better.

America will continue to suffer.

Republicans control all three branches of Federal Government.

At the national level, those are the same thing.

At the State level, it's more like what Eberly said.

I don't know if this stat still holds, but many years ago -- Most people had a favorable view of their particular Congressional representatives, but held Congress as a whole in very low esteem.

Republicans control all three branches of Federal Government.

So what ... its only been a couple of years.

You think all this fraud is just happening now? You can't be this stupid.

Been going on for 20years in many cases.

At the State level, it's more like what Eberly said.

The States are usually in charge with verification of recipients/beneficiaries. The funds just come from the Federal Gov, and the vendors are checked out.

Here's a hint big talker, California is a one party state, and its education system is in free fall. Until you wake up .. it will continue to fall.

One party cheats more than the other.
One party creates more debt than the other.
One party commits more crime than the other.
One party is worse than the other.

Both cheat, create debt, commits crime, etc.
One is better at it than the other.
Ignore the one that does all those horrible things because, well, they just don't screw you as much.

Worse on ever issue. But the one they're better at being worse is BAD.

Yup, single lever voters.

"Third party votes are wasted," say both parties.

Third party voters, "Are you one lever voters this stupid?"

My point is that no matter how many republicans say government is corrupt they don't blame their own party.

And they aren't switching.

"My point is that no matter how many republicans say government is corrupt they don't blame their own party."

Your point is spot-on.

If you'll notice, any time "The Party of Responsibility" talks about responsibility, it's someone else's, never theirs.

Every. Damn. Time.

We have 2 options. So I point my finger at the one doing far more damage.

Here's a hint paint huffer - california is the 4th largest economy in the world and it's school systems destroy almost any red state.

If CA means democrats are bad leaders, what do kansas, arkansas, mississippi, west virginia, alabama, and nebraska mean?

Democrats make up most of government employees. Let's call them the party of government. Establishment Republicans claimed to be anti government but they had their own graft in the military industrial complex. Trump's populist MAGA movement made small furtive movements toward cleaning up the system and has been attacked for it from all sides.

Nothing about trump was populist at all except the white trash hatred of brown people.

He's done next to nothing for the working class. Any marginal good he does is dwarfed by the ways he's fucking them over.

He knows how stupid you are. He knows all he had to do was make a big public show of bullying brown people and it would be enough to keep your support while he robs the country blind and drives it into a ditch.
