This is not happening in a vacuum and it's not the only thing happening. Obviously.

Nepotism in government in violation of federal law and if it is being supported and allowed by the president it is not insignificant.

So. You are against it then? Because it is unconstitutional for states to deport anyone and this state law appears to allow the state to deport people and prevents immigrants from reapplying legally.

The U.S. Supreme Court (up until now) has consistently ruled that the federal government has broad and exclusive power to regulate immigration.

State (or local laws) such as this one will be constitutionally preempted if they attempt to regulate immigration.
