From my experience, you never want to make requests from other neighbors.
It usually starts a neighbor conflict.
You have to go through legal channels and let law enforcement deal with it.

Intellectual curiosity is a hell of a drug, Bill. There are plenty of people on this forum smarter than I am. I just get paid to read books for a living from what most norms would consider authoritative sources. And then I follow up on what interests me. For work, it's religion and theology, even though I don't believe in a God of any kind. For music, it's total improvisation.

The ringing of church bells is to call people in to receive that type of, in the words from your childhood, indoctrination.

Language and Islam are tied up in a way that Christianity and language aren't.
