I had a professor in college for several classes who always said "I don't know if this is true, but it ought to be..."

It was in jest because his point was that people tend leave logic and objectivity aside in favor of bias and what they want to happen often times.

That bias has a strong presence here but it's a political blog so it's to be expected. I poke jabs at the folks who display that bias completely unaware of it.
