Is something strange going on at the SPLC?

*** More Lawfare from Nefarious Trumpf Junta ***

"The Justice Department has removed the career Miami federal prosecutor leading the investigation into John Brennan, after she resisted pressure to quickly bring charges against the former CIA director and prominent critic of Dummkopf Trumpf."

**** Justice Dept Unveils 11-Count Indictment Against SPLC ****

"Between 2014 and 2023, the SPLC secretly funneled more than $3 million in donated funds to individuals who were associated with various violent extremist groups including the Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nations, and National Socialist Party of America."

The details contained in the civil forfeiture complaint are allegations only.

Decades ago, the SPLC under Morris Dees dismantled the KKK. Years later, he was abruptly fired.

Without white power voters, the Trump MAGA gang would be powerless. so sure, this is just dancin' with who brought him to the dance. And, of course, Trump and his gang want the names and addresses of the informants.

So, they paid informants so they'd know what the heck is going on in that underbelly?

The alleged mistake the SPLC made was not telling donors how their money was being used, like paying confidential informants (CI).

I guess the CIs weren't unpaid volunteers doing Samaritan's work, but rather they were amateur gumshoes.

BLUF: The FBI should have been the organization infiltrating these white supremacist groups, not the SPLC.

Here is a human rights defender with far less controversy surrounding it: www.schr.org

In 1985, Sol Wachtler, then the Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals for the State of New York, famously opined that a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich if asked to do so. This statement was itself an indictment on how easily prosecutors were able to obtain indictments from the grand jury.

True.

Meanwhile, based on what the Trump DOJ has done to date, it's clear the Grand Jury WON T indict bologna.

Appears that they may need to be targeted.

BTW: First they came.....

Its just a statement, and you're deflecting.

SPLC paid the President of the NAZI party $70,000, all the while having him as part of their MOST wanted.

LOL

How brain rotted is your little Pedo MAGA brain?

How dumb do you have to be to need this explained for the 100th time?

A Grand Jury will basically indict anything. If the Grand Jury won't indict, then damn...your prosecutor has got to be the dumbest on the planet (Pirro for instance).

The Prosecutor gets to present whatever evidence in whatever light they want. And make whatever argument they want from it.

No Defense attorney. No rebuttal. No exculpatory evidence.

And the standard is just reasonable ground to SUSPECT a person committed a crime based upon whatever evidence the Prosecutor decides to present and argue about.

A Grand Jury is a rubber stamp formality...which is why so many Trump DOJ cases make it passed the Grand Jury only to get laughed out of court.

WHY did they pay?

Why are you such a liar? Why do you leave that part out?

"The indictment came shortly after the SPLC revealed the existence of a criminal investigation into its disbanded informant program to gather intelligence on extremist group activities. The group said the program was used to monitor threats of violence and the information was often shared with local and federal law enforcement."

That seems like a pretty decent program and helpful for law enforcement as well.

Are you upset SPLC was infiltrating your Pedo KKK group?

This administration has cried wolf so many times, I will wait to see if this makes it through the courts.

Meanwhile there must be some black repuglicans who are paying protection money so their crimes will go unprosecuted.
