The last few years I have been stunned how the dems are on the wrong side of every social issue.

Their comeback is usually some emotional appeal about "compassion" or "equity," but when you dig deeper its less about problem solving and more about virtue signaling or blindly singing the party line.

Ironically, they often use APA, which was invented to reel in rogue agencies created by congress as 'independent', thus attempting to create a "fourth branch of government" immune to constitutional process.

Or when crossing the border in Mexico and Canada. It is different from deportation. People first arriving may be excluded for almost any reason that is not deemed arbitrary or capricious. ICE is historically given tremendous latitude to exclude people. Usually people excluded include those who appearto have arrived in the USA to seek employment when all they have is a tourist or a student visa. One of the primary ways they verify that a foreigner truly is just a tourist is to verify their financial status in their home country. People who are young, don't have much money, or a set tourist itinerary are often suspected of really coming here just to work. They get excluded by immigration all the time.

Read this. Understand this. And you will have learned something all Americans should understand. It will also add a lot more clarity to what you all are attempting to to discuss. These tourists' sound like they were excluded, not deported. Legally a very substantive difference.

At the federal level, AUSAs can use an 'Information' rather than seek a Grand Jury indictment. I have seen the use of the 'Information' in federal proceedings:

"Like an indictment, an information is a formal charging document that describes the criminal charges against a person and the factual basis for those charges. Unlike an indictment, however, an information does not require a grand jury's vote. Instead, the information is presented to a judicial officer, usually a magistrate judge, who examines the information and decides whether there is probable cause that a crime occurred."

There would not have been sufficient time to convene a Grand Jury and secure an indictment against Judge Hannah Dugan. A GOP-appointed magistrate must have approved the FBI arrest warrant after reading the 'Information' provided by the Republican AUSA.

Another meme shows a cartoon peasant confronting Vance: "Do you realize your tariff policy will raise the price of your eyeliner?"

Sending the FBI to harass a judge and then spread it all over the media is serious. Seriously tyrannical. Using the DOJ to prosecute your political enemies is seriously F-ed up.

Even if this judge committed a crime this is not how we treat judges or anyone of standing in the community who is accused of committing non violent offenses.

In most states a judge cannot be arrested for a crime without a grand jury indictment. The grand jury's role is to determine whether there is enough evidence to bring formal criminal charges. This means that a judge accused of a felony must first be indicted by a grand jury before they can be arrested

Where is the grand jury indictment?

Day by day they're gutting safety measures and regulations that keep us from harm.

Face it, Trump and his sycophants couldn't care less about our wellbeing or the wellbeing of America at large.

And with a drunk in charge of the Pentagon, the Chinese are likely having conversations about attacking Taiwan and taking advantage of the fact Hegseth fired the cybersecurity team at the Pentagon who kept hackers at bay. I'd guess a guy who sends war plans on a commercial network instead of the several uber secure government communication programs simply doesn't care.
