Trump's shooter used a .223, which was an objectively poor choice for that shot. I think Trump owes his life, in part, to that choice.

Today's assassination was a 200 yd shot and, judging by the video, was definitely not a .223.

First it was driving while black. Now it's working while Latino. Next it will be protesting while Democrat.

people on the right don't tend to wait for any information about the motivations of the shooter before blaming the left. But Kirk had enemies on the right too; some of them surely live in Utah. And as with any shooting, the shooter's motivations may not map onto any coherent politics at all.
