This is how dictators destroy free nations. They threaten those who speak against them with death. We cannot entrust our country and our freedom to a petty, vindictive, cruel, unstable man who wants to be a tyrant.

When sh*tler was in office he tried to lock up Hilary twice and two attorney generals had to tell him no.

He tried to have Biden arrested in 2020 and Barr told him no.

This time he is not going to make the mistake of putting rational people in his adminstration. He is going to staff it with sycophants and fanbois/girls that will do his bidding without batting an eye and the corrupt SCOTUS gave him a get out of jail free card.

Russia did not even have to fire one bullet to take over the GQP.

It's very obvious what he's talking about and it is NOT about putting her in front of a firing squad. Trump says a lot of stupid and reprehensible things. This was actually the same point liberals used to make during the Bush years and the Iraq war. When you take a statement tha5 is actually a good statement and cut the video clip before his point gets made not only is it dishonest as hell, it also erodes credibility the next time you all get your feathers ruffled over something he said.

Anyone want to proffer a guess what would happen if one person had nine guns aimed at their head during a war skirmish?

That person would be killed. Brutally - based on modern field weapons - if all 9 shooters fire - which is exactly what they'd do with an enemy in their sights.

There is no other plausible outcome for such a scenario. N.O.N.E.

Anyone making such a case is a moron, gaslighter, and a tactically ignorant doofus.

The problem some people have with his comment is that he's a little too enthusiastic and graphic in his description:

Trump amplifies posts calling for televised military tribunal for Liz Cheney

Former President Donald Trump amplified posts on social media calling for a televised military tribunal for former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney and the jailing of top elected officials, including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

"ELIZABETH LYNNE CHENEY IS GUILTY OF TREASON," one post created by another user that Trump amplified on his social media website Truth Social on Sunday reads. "RETRUTH IF YOU WANT TELEVISED MILITARY TRIBUNALS."

Um, no. I'm not saying it's never happened but when it has and someone here was kind enough to provide either a more complete quote in context or a more complete video, I've recanted.

One example comes to mind. A video of Obama hobnobbing with a bunch of fiesta and Biden being ignored. It looked really bad up to the point the video was cut. I pointed and laughed and then someone on this site provided a longer feed and immediately after the the point where the shorter video was cut, Obama swung around with a big smile on his face to shake hands with Biden and Biden was right there participating in the group's small talk. When I saw the longer video I immediately retracted my criticism and mockery.

I'm not surprised though. You can't admit that you're wrong and are hyper-ventilating over nothing so you have to attack me personally.

Your diagram includes the invisible apostrophe.

" AP sources: White House altered record of Biden's garbage' remarks despite stenographer concerns"

apnews.com

FTA:

Biden, according to a transcript prepared by the official White House stenographers, told the Latino group on a Tuesday evening video call, "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters " his " his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American."

The transcript released by the White House press office, however, rendered the quote with an apostrophe, reading "supporter's" rather than "supporters," which aides said pointed to Biden criticizing Hinchcliffe, not the millions of Americans who are supporting Trump for president

The change was made after the press office "conferred with the president," according to an internal email from the head of the stenographers' office that was obtained by The AP. The authenticity of the email was confirmed by two government officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal matters.

The supervisor, in the email, called the press office's handling of the matter "a breach of protocol and spoliation of transcript integrity between the Stenography and Press Offices."

So, WH stenographers, whose job is to accurately transcribe, don't see the invisible apostrophe.

"Arizona's top prosecutor investigating Trump's comments about Cheney as possible death threat

Arizona's top prosecutor tells 12News she is investigating whether Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump violated state law by making a "death threat" against former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney during remarks Thursday night at an event in Glendale.

"I have already asked my criminal division chief to start looking at that statement, analyzing it for whether it qualifies as a death threat under Arizona's laws," Attorney General Mayes, a first-term Democrat, said during Friday's taping of "Sunday Square Off."

"I'm not prepared now to say whether it was or it wasn't, but it is not helpful as we prepare for our election and as we try to make sure that we keep the peace at our polling places and in our state."

"Supporters, versus supporter's"

Exactly because if you read it as supporters then it read like this, which makes no sense grammatically:

And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." Well, let me tell you something. I don't-- I--I don't know the Puerto Rican that--that I know--or a Puerto Rico, where I'm fr--in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters--his--his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American. It's totally contrary to everything we've done, everything we've been.

If you do want to pretend Biden was talking about all Trump supporters, then Trump is the one who is demonizing Latinos and, althoughtit makes no sense grammatically, his supporters are garbage because they are on board with it. If Biden had meant all of Trump's supporters, he would have said:

And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." Well, let me tell you something. I don't-- I--I don't know the Puerto Rican that--that I know--or a Puerto Rico, where I'm fr--in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters--their--their demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American. It's totally contrary to everything we've done, everything we've been.

Those stenographers should have noticed their mistake when they realized that Biden used the singular possessive pronoun"his". If he had been referring to Trump supporters plural, rather than a singular supporter (the comedian), he would have said their, not his.

Here's what I quoted Josh Marshall as saying on the topic:

@joshtpm
One of those cases where it's clear what Biden said and the only question is how much MSM journalists will allow Trumpers to lie about it. Nothingburger. "demonization" coming after supporters makes no sense unless it's the supporters demonization. Again, Trump's closing on denying being Hitler. They'll do anything to change the story.

2/ Talking to reporters about this, basically none of them can credibly say they think that's what Biden said so they pivot to but Republicans are already fundraising off of it. This is really the heart of the current media moment.

And here's what Tony wrote:

The White House purposely and illegally tried to cover up the transcript of what Biden said which was utter hate and contempt for 50% of America.

That wasn't what he said, if you place one single comma where it's supposed to be in his statement:

"Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage,' " Biden said on the call.

"They're good, decent, honorable people," Biden said, referring to Puerto Ricans. "The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter ' s. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American. It's totally contrary to everything we've done."

The sentence makes no sense if Biden was not referring to Tony Hinchcliffe. Using the word HIS confirms what he meant. Trump didn't refer to Puerto Ricans as garbage, Hinchcliffe did. If Biden had been talking about a group of people he would have used the word THEIR not his.

The transcript was missing the possessive comma designating the subject being discussed was Hinchcliffe, not anyone else. Grammar has rules folks, even if Trumpers never do.

Stop already, you are looking dumber than Biden now. Biden is a senile old conman and no one really cares what he says. Trump supporters are dressing at garbage for Halloween.

Biden said what he said - we have the damn tape after all - and we all know exactly what he meant just like we did for Obama and Hillary did when talking with contempt for Republicans.

This is not a case of "Gal_Tuesday helped her uncle jack off a horse" and then making the correction that the J should have been capitalized.

As for Trump's remark about Cheney, it did sound to me at first like he was talking about putting her in front of a firing squad. After hearing it a few more times and researching how many people are usually in a firing squad (was that the reason he used the number 9?), I came to the conclusion that's not literally what he was was referring to. Having said that, I still have a problem with the implied violence in his statement (shooting her in the face), especially because of other comments he has made in recent months (suggesting General Mark Miley deserves execution, giving a thummbs up to military tribunals for his political opponents). I tried to explain all that in my previous posts. The only thing I forgot to cite was Trump's remarks about Miley:

Trump and GOP Rep. Gosar suggest Joint Chiefs boss Mark Milley deserves death

A lot of people think Trump should be put on trial, but I have never heard Biden or Harris or any other high ranking Democrat in Congress suggest he deserves to be executed.

- "... jack off a horse"

Wow... Freud would have an easy time with the things you think about, and then actually say in public.

If weren't for pedophiles, queers, and, er, animal abuse, you wouldn't have any thoughts at all.

Which might be better for all concerned.

That's easy.

All you need is bronzer, orange hair, a long red tie, adult Depends, and a cheap blue suit.

This is silence, which implies agreement, and then a deflection. Isn't Trump already on trial?

I was really surprised by Milleys comments to his Chinese counter part, could have started a war, with China thinking they had the upper hand.

Wouldn't that be treason? What is treason if it's not what Milley did?

I remember during the Iraq war liberals criticized supporters that they would feel differently about it if they had skin in the game - maybe themselves, friends and/or family members being sent to a combat zone.

Trump makes that same argument and lefties lose their minds.

Oh, and riddle me this - when has giving a person about to face a firing squad a rifle EVER been a thing?

I can't believe how stupid and dishonest the left is. It's insane. And here is the thing - Trump says all sorts of stupid and reckless things. Focus on those. But the left can't. So when they try to manufacture a controversy over an argument being made supposedly FROM the left side of the aisle it erodes so much credibility. And that means the next time Trump actually does say something egregious and the left throws yet another hissy-fit, people will just yawn.

It would only be actual treason if China precipitated a war based upon what Milley said AND if he followed through. And even then it would be difficult to prove in court. It's absolutely a violation of the chain of command and would likely, at the very least, result in a dishonorable discharge.

Mikey's service awards:

Defense Distinguished Service Medal (3)
Army Distinguished Service Medal (5)
Defense Superior Service Medal (3)
Legion of Merit (3)
Bronze Star Medal (4)
