Recent reporting states that good-for-nothing bully Markwayne Mullet has been floating the idea of making his wife Christie an SGE so that she could fly for free with him and allow her to make $130,000 per year.

Moreover, Markwayne Mullet's flight logs revealed he is traveling in the same $70 million luxury Gulfstream G700 jet that former D/DHS Kristi Noem was criticized for using. According to flight logs, he is using the G700 to fly back to his ranch in Oklahoma from Thursday to Monday, running the department from an arm's length. In addition to retaining that jet, DHS has purchased another luxury Gulfstream G700 jet, as well as seven other planes for both private travel and deportation flights.

~snip~

"Hey! Markwayne and Christie! Enjoy the luxury jet and champagne-- all paid for by the hard-working American taxpayer. We certainly did! Ha!"

*** D/DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullet is a Filthy, Cruel, Racist Monster ***

The Confederate States of Amerikkka lives.

At a White House cabinet meeting, this hideous human hippo callously dismissed the recent detainee hunger strike in an ICE facility, as well as an injury sustained by US Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) by ICE thugs:

"They're refusing to eat because they want their ethnic food. Well, they can go back to their country and get whatever food they want. This isn't Holiday Inn."

And then you have one of the senators complain because he got splattered with a pepper ball. I'm sorry, you probably shouldn't have been there."

Nota Bene: US Senator John Fetterman (D-Israel) had a chance to derail Mullet's nomination in committee, but instead Fetterman voted to approve him, advancing Mullet's nomination to the full US Senate for confirmation.

"He leaves on Thursdays a lot at 11 in the morning and doesn't fly back [from Oklahoma] until Monday afternoon. He is barely in the building."

Behold, life at the public trough.

No they can't. They are prisoners. They can't just walk out and buy a plane ticket.

He's giving Bugsy Patel a run for his money on who works the second least in this administration.

@#11 ... Seems everyone else has their family on the role. ...

By "role," did your comment mean "payroll?"

If so, I would agree with that about the Trump admin.

As I said earlier, the grifting continues in the Trump admin.

Good to see your agreement of that.

Lamp,

Yes...payroll.

Do a more exhaustive search.

More than just Trump.

Maxine Water's daughter.

It's not unique to Trump.

Nepotism goes on in DC.

Many members of Congress both parties have had paid family members.

That was my point...Why not Mullin's wife?

*** ICE Seeks To Purchase Web Browsing and Ad Data ***

"ICE published a request for information seeking input on how "commercial Big Data and Ad Tech providers can directly support investigations," a request that came as the sinister Trumpf junta was pursuing efforts to expand the ICE capabilities. This appears to be the first time ICE has issued a public request on how to use this kind of data, which can include information on people's purchases, web browsing, or social media use."

~snip~

Incredible. ICE is already using hi-tech Israeli hacking equipment against us, turning us all into Palestinians, now America's Gestapo wants more warrantless snooping powers.

Cor,

"It's very shocking to see it in black and white that the government is trying to use the digital advertising ecosystem to find and target immigrants."

I'm not sure why that's supposed to be shocking.

However, I think it's misleading to leave out the word "illegal".

"Critics warn that more access to this data could also give the government unprecedented detail on Americans' political views, creating a potential tool to suppress opponents."

That's been the fear going back for decades.

Books in the 1960s talked about it. I've seen both Democrats and Republicans, at different times, become harbingers of doom over fears of "Big Brother."

So long as the government is using these tools to identify illegal immigrants and others who are breaking the law, and not to suppress political opponents, I don't see a problem.

As Americans, we just have to stay alert to the possibility of government overreach.

Nepotism in government is illegal.

...

#13 | POSTED BY BILLJOHNSON

Because nepotism in government is illegal.

The Federal Anti-Nepotism Statute (5 U.S.C. 3110): This law makes it illegal for any public official (including the President, Members of Congress, and agency heads) to appoint, employ, promote, or advocate for the hiring of a relative in their agency or chain of command.

Donner,

"Because nepotism in government is illegal."

Fine. Then apply the standard consistently.

If nepotism is wrong, it's wrong regardless of whose wife, husband, son, or daughter is involved.

A principle isn't much of a principle if it only applies to people you don't like.

Qualifications? That's so Obama.

Donner,

The anti-nepotism law serves a legitimate purpose. It helps prevent blatant abuses of power and situations where people are given positions primarily because of who they are related to rather than their qualifications.

But what do you call it when people only seem interested in enforcing it against those they politically disagree with?

(Between us...I have a few posters on my time out list for now. You are close. Please be polite.)

Redial,

"Does she have any sort of qualifications for such a position?"

That's somewhat subjective.

I wouldn't say she is totally unqualified.

She does appear to have some relevant experience and credentials.

She has helped her husband run the plumbing company he inherited from his father.

Sucking her husband's dick and burning her voter's ballot because women shouldn't vote isn't relevant experience or credentials.

BillJ (paraphrased): Everyone does it, so why not them?

As much as you talk about religion, you seem to have no inherent moral compass.

Do you remember history? "For God's sake, sir, have you no shame?"

From previous conversations it sounds like your wife with a graduate degree keeps you up on that sort of stuff.

Is your wife Mommy to you?

I'll admit I refer to my wife as Mommy ... when I'm talking to my dog.

Db,

"As much as you talk about religion, you seem to have no inherent moral compass."

Most people have a moral compass.

The question is not do I have one.

The question is do you agree with mine?

The tricky part is I don't even fully agree with the moral compass I live by.

Who does?
