Recent reporting states that good-for-nothing bully Markwayne Mullet has been floating the idea of making his wife Christie an SGE so that she could fly for free with him and allow her to make $130,000 per year.

Moreover, Markwayne Mullet's flight logs revealed he is traveling in the same $70 million luxury Gulfstream G700 jet that former D/DHS Kristi Noem was criticized for using. According to flight logs, he is using the G700 to fly back to his ranch in Oklahoma from Thursday to Monday, running the department from an arm's length. In addition to retaining that jet, DHS has purchased another luxury Gulfstream G700 jet, as well as seven other planes for both private travel and deportation flights.

~snip~

"Hey! Markwayne and Christie! Enjoy the luxury jet and champagne-- all paid for by the hard-working American taxpayer. We certainly did! Ha!"

*** D/DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullet is a Filthy, Cruel, Racist Monster ***

The Confederate States of Amerikkka lives.

At a White House cabinet meeting, this hideous human hippo callously dismissed the recent detainee hunger strike in an ICE facility, as well as an injury sustained by US Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) by ICE thugs:

"They're refusing to eat because they want their ethnic food. Well, they can go back to their country and get whatever food they want. This isn't Holiday Inn."

And then you have one of the senators complain because he got splattered with a pepper ball. I'm sorry, you probably shouldn't have been there."

Nota Bene: US Senator John Fetterman (D-Israel) had a chance to derail Mullet's nomination in committee, but instead Fetterman voted to approve him, advancing Mullet's nomination to the full US Senate for confirmation.

"It's very shocking to see it in black and white that the government is trying to use the digital advertising ecosystem to find and target immigrants."

I'm not sure why that's supposed to be shocking.

However, I think it's misleading to leave out the word "illegal".

"Critics warn that more access to this data could also give the government unprecedented detail on Americans' political views, creating a potential tool to suppress opponents."

That's been the fear going back for decades.

Books in the 1960s talked about it. I've seen both Democrats and Republicans, at different times, become harbingers of doom over fears of "Big Brother."

So long as the government is using these tools to identify illegal immigrants and others who are breaking the law, and not to suppress political opponents, I don't see a problem.

As Americans, we just have to stay alert to the possibility of government overreach.

#13 | POSTED BY BILLJOHNSON

Because nepotism in government is illegal.

The Federal Anti-Nepotism Statute (5 U.S.C. 3110): This law makes it illegal for any public official (including the President, Members of Congress, and agency heads) to appoint, employ, promote, or advocate for the hiring of a relative in their agency or chain of command.

Fine. Then apply the standard consistently.

If nepotism is wrong, it's wrong regardless of whose wife, husband, son, or daughter is involved.

A principle isn't much of a principle if it only applies to people you don't like.

Donner,

The anti-nepotism law serves a legitimate purpose. It helps prevent blatant abuses of power and situations where people are given positions primarily because of who they are related to rather than their qualifications.

But what do you call it when people only seem interested in enforcing it against those they politically disagree with?

(Between us...I have a few posters on my time out list for now. You are close. Please be polite.)

That, my friend, is the president's job. To faithfully enforce the law.

Not to find and exploit every loophole possible for his own benefit, or that of his family. It's not his job to find ways to manipulate markets and stuff the pockets of his allies and minions.

The President's job is to faithfully enforce the laws of the United States.

Again. It is against federal law. Saying that others break the law so that makes it ok is infantile. And would never hold up in a court of law.

Mullin wanting to get his wife a government just doesn't matter to me.

I just don't think its that important.

It should.

Right.

Because it's a republican doing it.

And again. Both sides are not the same.

And none of this is normal.

#47 | Posted by donnerboy at 2026-06-01 12:15 PM | Reply

Donner,

"It should."

I agree to some extent.

But look at it from a different angle.

Take public schools and immigration, for example. People have been warning for years that these are growing problems and that we "should" be concerned about where society is headed.

The response is often that people simply don't care, or that other issues take priority.

Now you're using the word "should" for something you consider important and seem offended because I say it's a matter of priorities.

You may have a point that perhaps I should be concerned.

But Mullin wanting to get his wife a job just isn't very high on my list of concerns compared to the bigger issues facing the country.

#48 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2026-06-01 12:38 PM | Reply

Donner,

And don't act morally superior.

You're simply assigning a higher priority to this issue than I am, while assigning a lower priority to other issues that I consider more important.

The disagreement isn't whether every issue can be judged as right and wrong, or legal and illegal.

The disagreement is over which issues deserve the most attention.

Mullin's getting his wife a job is really insignificant as far as I'm concerned.

I am wholly dependent on my belief that I was reborn in God's image through Jesus Christ.

Without that hope, I would likely be dead by now.

Well now. Isn't that special? Bless your little fake plastic heart!

I do not need to be forgiven by any Gods for my life choices.

I don't need to be forgiven for being a human. Subject to the Human Condition.

It's enough for me that I forgive myself for my mistakes and try to do better and to make amends to anyone I may have (unintentionally) harmed along the way.

"I am wholly dependent on my belief that I was reborn in God's image through Jesus Christ.

That should have been in quotes.

I apologize for my mistake!

"My self-image is closely tied to my belief that I am a child of God" - BILLJOHNSON

I dont understand the whole religion thing. I recall being so young that my parents were still married, so 6 or younger, and playing in my backyard. Someone must have told me that god had planned my life because I distinctly remember thinking I wanted to swing but god must have planned that so I was going down the slide instead. Then I thought he probably planned that too and I might as well swing. Why anyone needs a sky daddy to keep them from behaving badly is beyond me.

#83 Justagirl_Idaho makes a fantastic point when she says, "Why anyone needs a sky daddy to keep them from behaving badly is beyond me."

Indeed!

Since we are discussing what faux Christians say and do, perhaps we should balance that with what an actual Christian... who is also a PhD in Pure Math (aka Abstract Algebra, along with a couple of other Oxford doctorates)... briefly says to a group of students and Faculty at Harvard Medicine about what Christianity actually is about:

Dan,

"You literally told Laura you wouldn't be seeing her in the afterlife."

That was rather abrupt of me to say, and I would be interested in the rest of the context. How much was Laura attacking me?

However, was that really saying I think I am better than Laura?

As I've said over and over, "I'm not better, just forgiven."

I have plenty that needs forgiven.

Pride is an easy hole to fall into.

Paul, in the New Testament, wrote that he was given a "thorn in the flesh" to keep him from becoming proud.

For me, since the 80s, that thorn has been an extremely painful dry eye condition that has made me dependent on the understanding and accommodations of employers and other people for much of my adult life.

It's hard to feel superior when you're constantly reminded of your own weaknesses and limitations.

No, I don't think I'm better than other people, contrary to what some people here believe.

#87 bj boi lapses into blame the victim territory when s/he says, "...and I would be interested in the rest of the context. How much was Laura attacking me?"

My, how "Christian."

Friend,

Not blaming.

I didn't say Laura was attacking me. I said I would be interested in knowing how much Laura was.

If she was, then I deserve for that to come out.

That was an abrupt thing for me to say and out of character.

If you want to judge me, feel free.

Friend,

"My, how "Christian.""

No...it's how human.

If Laura was provoking me and most likely was, then she got a response out of me.

Find the post and share it. I'll try to find it too.

Friend,

I found this.

On 6-19-22 I wrote the following,

Dan,

"Like when you told Laura you wouldn't see her in the afterlife?"

Find that post and share it.

POSTED BY BILLJOHNSON AT 2022-06-19 07:26 PM

It seems you have made that accusation before. Did you find the post and share it like I asked?

Considering it was Dan who originally got this started, I wouldn't bank on it being true.

#92 Sorry, bj boi, but your integrity here is non-existent, especially when compared with Dan, and others.

Stuff it, liar.

Ask Laura if you're unsure.

Was it?

Do you think that there are people in Hell, who are just as good as the people in Heaven?

That's the only way you're not saying you're better than Laura.

#99 | Posted by snoofy at 2026-06-01 06:27 PM | Reply

Snoofy,

If there is a heaven and hell, I won't be the one doing the judging.

So my opinion isn't much use.

I can only go what I've learned from Christian churches and what's written.

It's not my style to tell anyone with any confidence who is or isn't going one place or the other.

I found in my notes years ago it got started that I told Laura she's going to hell.

I wasn't able to find it and asked Dan to say where he found it back 5 years ago.

He didn't respond with an answer.
