Donald Trump: "She's a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay? Let's see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face."
What's the point of putting Cheney and others before televised military tribunals?:

Former President Donald Trump amplified posts on social media calling for a televised military tribunal for former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney and the jailing of top elected officials, including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
"ELIZABETH LYNNE CHENEY IS GUILTY OF TREASON," one post created by another user that Trump amplified on his social media website Truth Social on Sunday reads. "RETRUTH IF YOU WANT TELEVISED MILITARY TRIBUNALS."

All of this can be true as well as simply admitting it's really bad for a presidential candidate to ask the population to imagine the violent death of his political opponent.

I agree! It was also legitimately bad when Trump suggested Cheney be put in front of a televised military tribunal. His actual policy proposals for American democracy are even worse.
All of which is all the more reason to avoid crying wolf.

Actually, I did say that the outrage about Biden's "garbage" comment was absurd.
We're nearing an election, people's emotions are high, and they're making mountains of molehills when the real stakes are Trump's terrible policy ideas
With an apostrophe the key sentence doesn't even make sense. Also, I am much more inclined to take the stenographer's interpretation because they are trained to accurately transcribe.

Adding the apostrophe changes the other punctuation:

And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." Well, let me tell you something. I don't-- I--I don't know the Puerto Rican that--that I know--or a Puerto Rico, where I'm fr--in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter's--his--his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American. It's totally contrary to everything we've done, everything we've been.

"Supporters, versus supporter's"
Exactly because if you read it as supporters then it read like this, which makes no sense grammatically:
And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." Well, let me tell you something. I don't-- I--I don't know the Puerto Rican that--that I know--or a Puerto Rico, where I'm fr--in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters--his--his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it's un-American. It's totally contrary to everything we've done, everything we've been.
If you do want to pretend Biden was talking about all Trump supporters, then Trump is the one who is demonizing Latinos and, althoughtit makes no sense grammatically, his supporters are garbage because they are on board with it. If Biden had meant all of Trump's supporters, he would have said:
And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a "floating island of garbage." Well, let me tell you something. I don't-- I--I don't know the Puerto Rican that--that I know--or a Puerto Rico, where I'm fr--in my home state of Delaware, they're good, decent, honorable people. Those stenographers should have noticed their mistake when they realized that Biden used the singular possessive pronoun"his". If he had been referring to Trump supporters plural, rather than a singular supporter (the comedian), he would have said their, not his.
As for Trump's remark about Cheney, it did sound to me at first like he was talking about putting her in front of a firing squad. After hearing it a few more times and researching how many people are usually in a firing squad (was that the reason he used the number 9?), I came to the conclusion that's not literally what he was was referring to. Having said that, I still have a problem with the implied violence in his statement (shooting her in the face), especially because of other comments he has made in recent months (suggesting General Mark Miley deserves execution, giving a thummbs up to military tribunals for his political opponents). I tried to explain all that in my previous posts. The only thing I forgot to cite was Trump's remarks about Miley:
Trump and GOP Rep. Gosar suggest Joint Chiefs boss Mark Milley deserves death

Do you honestly think something went wrong on the server side to repost 1000+ times by Hans or was he sitting in his basement continuously hitting the publish comment button with ever growing incel rage until it finally posted 1000+ times? My bet is that someone's mom didn't bring the pizza rolls in time and Hans was rage hitting submit while likely screaming the n-word at the top of his lungs. Thankfully, he likely resides in a windowless basement so no one was exposed to his racial abuse....and then there was this...

Ariz. A.G. investigating Trump's rhetoric against Cheney as possible death threat
www.upi.com
... Arizona's attorney general said Friday she has launched an investigation of violent rhetoric aimed by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump at former Rep. Liz Cheney as a possible death threat.
Trump, who has verbally attacked Cheney repeatedly during this year's presidential campaign, intensified the pattern Thursday during an interview with right-wing media commentator Tucker Carlson in Glendale, Ariz.
After denouncing the stated intention of the Republican's father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, to join his daughter in voting for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, Trump said, "I don't blame him for sticking with his daughter, but his daughter is a very dumb individual, very dumb.
"She's a radical war hawk. Let's put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK. Let's see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained on her face. You know, they're all war hawks when they're sitting in Washington in a nice building saying, oh, gee, we'll, let's send 10,000 troops right into the mouth of the enemy."
Cheney on Friday responded forcefully to the violent comments, saying they amounted to a death threat and smacked of the rhetoric of a "dictator." ...
