WTF difference does your Whataboutism make?

All it does is avoid the current point by claiming hypocrisy. Unless you mean to say that it's OK because someone else did it. How many times does this need to be explained to you?

See if you can't make a comment about the points in the article.

from The Bulwark article:

"Once, if a president or his subordinates wanted to cover up a problem, even a crime, they made labored efforts at obfuscation and concealment. Coverups were, as the term implies, pursued under the cover of darkness.

That's why the Washington Post, with the experience of Watergate in mind, came up at the beginning of Trump's first term with the slogan "Democracy Dies in Darkness." But that slogan applies to a different era.

Now Ghislaine Maxwell, one of two organizers of a massive and horrendous child sex trafficking ring of which Donald Trump appears to have had considerable contemporaneous knowledge, meets with the deputy attorney general of the United States"who had previously been Trump's private lawyer"and the White House openly embraces it.

A week later, contrary to the normal rules for a prisoner convicted of her crimes, Maxwell is transferred to a minimum security "Club Fed" facility. This was presumably as a down payment on not spilling the beans about Trump, and perhaps as an interim step on the way to a pardon.

This coverup is happening in broad daylight."

;;

Sad that Trump and MAGA are SO evil as to make Bloody Bill Kristol et al sound like the decent people in the room.

A map was posted online showing what would happening if all states gerrymandered their congressional districts.

It ends up with democrats having more seats than republicans.

Currently, California and New York use independent commissions to draw up congressional districts. Giving a lot of seats to Republicans.

Pretty sure Newsom is about to end that in response to the actions of Abbott.

Magat scum can go ---- themselves.

There is NOTHING comparable to anything dems have ever done.

And to add to the death of democracy theme:

Magat scum recently "rescinded" much of the spending that was agreed through negotiation to reach the budget deal in march/april
That CR was passed with a 60% vote meaning magat scum needed dem buy-in to get it passed
A couple of months go by and they rescind (with 50+1 Senate votes) the spending that the magat scum had agreed to for the CR to pass
So, this effectively makes any CR worth ---- for Dems.
There is ZERO reason to trust ANY deal that the Dems make with magat scum
Combine that with the impoundment that ----ler is implementing, they are effectively governing without any dem imput-i.e. the death of democracy
If the dems don't force a government shut down and a change in the rules, then F them

"Trump is opening up thousands of blue collar jobs for Americans"

What was the cost to the taxpayers, for every job "opened up?"

We were spending $20,000 per person just to deport someone do you agree with that?
"Over the last five fiscal years, it cost an estimated average of $19,599 to deport one person"
www.cbsnews.com

So, twenty grand to open up a job making $7.25 an hour, and that's assuming it's actually eligible for minimum wage and not an agricultural sub-minimum.

Have you figured out when this program pays for itself?

Have you figured out it was never intended to help American blue collar workers?

The issue today is the same as it has been throughout all history, whether man shall be allowed to govern himself or be ruled by a small elite.

Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government.

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.

The cornerstone of democracy rests on the foundation of an educated electorate.

The country is headed toward a single and splendid government of an aristocracy founded on banking institutions and moneyed incorporations and if this tendency continues it will be the end of freedom and democracy, the few will be ruling...I hope we shall...crush in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations which dare already to challenge our government to trial and bid defiance to the laws of our country.

I sincerely believe that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.

I don't "think" that.
It isn't an opinion.
It's a fact.
Roughly half of the agricultural labor force is undocumented.
That is what The Invisible Hand has dealt us.
Executive Orders can't that.
Even a comprehensive policy would be implemented over years, not a quarter.
Sending today's workers to camps doesn't re-staff those jobs tomorrow.

Can't you understand that?

You lie and lie and lie.
It's all you do.

" We've been exploiting immigrants for my whole life and trumps solution is to send these victims to El Salvador.

You voted for this. YOURE the elitist snob.

They e been exploited because allowed them to be exploited. Yes, crimping under the table labor wages will result in increased cost of food. But it will also result in higher wages for American citizens.

What a bunch of drama queens. Nobody like gerrymandering but it's been around since this country was founded.

I don't like Gerrymandering.
But you don't like Gerrymandering either.
That's why I support Gerrymandering.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Sending them to camps is worse than the "exploitation" you claim is occuring. "Exploitation" they volunteered for, by the way.

You're punishing them for being exploited.

Why are you punishing the victims of exploitation?

You are a psychopath and a sadist and a racist.

That's an appropriate description for the entire MAGA movement.
