The extra shells on the side saddle appear to be low brass shells, meaning they're bird shot. Hunting or target practice rounds.

Nothing that is going to do serious damage to anybody wearing any level of protection.

And given the readily available nature of ARs and 5.56 ammo, why would someone just run at the capital carrying an entry level pump shotgun?

The only way this is a serious attempt at something is it's a probe. Inducing a response for the response to be studied.

Serious question - if Biden was so bad, why didn't you take your own advice during his administration?

Basically, what it boils down to is there are a ton of people who are absolute s*&^ and the appear to concentrate more heavily in the GOP than anywhere else.

Why? Because nobody questions hollow claims of virtue and righteousness cuz Jeebus because it's the norm in that cesspool.

They'll just to live with your disappointment in them for being a republican.

The Republican part only comes in to play in that they claim to be righteous and moral and claim that basis for their governance ideals.

That's the only reason them actually being pieces of s*&^ is important.

Again, for probably the millionth time, if they didn't make an issue of it there wouldn't be an issue with this.

But you know that and decided that ---------- was gonna be the one to show up today anyway.

If you understand that, then you'll understand that those who choose to serve have to live with the political leaning of that area. IOW, if you want to get elected, you better know which party you'll be in. You seem to think those folks get to choose which party they can be in and expect to win. Or, if they really want to serve, they should just move to an area that better fits their political ideology. No ------- way.

That's a whole lot of obvious statements to get around to my point about the morally vacuous people who vote for this trash (often times after stuff like this is known about them) while still acting as if going to church once a week makes a damn bit of difference on their lack of morals and values.

I know this sucks seeing finally happen, but anyone who has followed these groups of charlatans through the pandemic could have seen this coming a mile away, especially for anything in the mRNA platform.

The only thing that surprises me is they didn't deny because there was no saline placebo.

I did see a headline today, though, that FDA U-turned and will now review the application.

I think that at this point, it's a safe assumption that anyone running for office as a Republican is a giant POS until proven otherwise.

How do the GOP voters keep falling for these people's lies and why do they keep electing them after they've been uncovered?

I was reading some articles yesterday about the money flowing to private prison companies for migrant detention.

One of them mentioned contents of an investor call where an "analyst" (they misspelled piece of s*&^) commented that the massive 700% increase in profits was great and all, but they were only running at 70,000 people when they were expecting cashflows more in the range of 100K people.

It's monetized human trafficking being done right out in the open for the benefit of investors looking for a wide open conduit to the US treasury.

I watched the linked video.

"Paul was really enthusiastic" is not the evidence you think it was.

It's conjecture coming from a biased source.

But it's bias you agree with so you see it as being more meaningful than it actually is.

But absolutely nothing in that conversation is going to convince a non-believer of anything more than believers will run in circles to confirm their belief.
