In all of my official and unofficial visits to Israel, I never had a fear of being blown up or attacked and I traveled around without security officers or a firearm. I was never afraid in Suid-Afrika either, pre- and post-apartheid.

Recently, I penned an OP about the 1993 Oslo Accords which laid the framework for Israelis and Palestinians to share the land in peace. An overhead highway would have connected the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. People in mixed cities like Haifa could have co-existed or the Arabs would have moved to either the West Bank or the Gaza Strip.
Instead, we have an abbatoir in the Gaza Strip. And 1,000 Arabs have been killed in the West Bank since 7 Oct 2023.
With peace-loving, hard-working American taxpayer funds and US-provided munitions, like unstoppable serial killers, the Israeli Death Forces (IDF) have now killed 73,121 Palestinians in Gaza. 20,179 of them were CHILDREN and 12,500 were WOMEN. 1,701 medical personnel have been butchered, a war crime. The IDF have maimed or wounded 173,273 Muslims, creating what the NYT reported was an "army of amputees" in Gaza.
Several studies have found that 73,121 is likely a significant undercount, and the true violent death toll in that charnel house may be as high as 100,000, as the bodies of many Palestinians lie under the rubble or were vaporized by US-provided thermobaric bombs. Moreover, the IDF does not allow bulldozers or excavating machines into the "Warsaw Ghetto" of the Middle East to find more corpses.
In Lebanon, 3,980 people have been killed; 12,001 wounded. 1.4m civilians have displaced in what the UN calls a "humanitarian catastrophe."
