"USCENTCOM forces have begun launching a series of powerful strikes against Iran to impose heavy costs for targeting and attacking commercial shipping crewed by innocent civilians in an international waterway. The U.S. strikes are in response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels that were transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's demonstrated aggression was unwarranted, dangerous, and a clear violation of the ceasefire."

irancost.com

This website advises what these billions of dollars wasted in this Islamophobic misadventure in the Middle East could have paid for in the US.

For example, 10,500,000 homeless people in America could be housed for one year.

So, let's enjoy austerity and the effects of the BBB together.

I guess it's time for new another peace treaty.

A U.S. official said targets include air defense systems, coastal surveillance systems, surface-to-air missile sites, anti-ship cruise missile sites, drone launch sites and port facilities.

Iran stuck three commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz consisting of civilians.

When are they going to stop?

How much damage must be done before they figure out they won't be controlling International areas of the Strait?

Trump is trying for a peace treaty.

It seems to be apparent he isn't wanting to go in and crush them like we could do.

To me, that looks like patience and hope backed by a show of strength.

Benjamin Netanyahu wants America's enormous population of 349,058,155 people of all denominations (Jewish, Catholic, Buddhist, Protestant, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Atheist, Deist, Orthodox Christian) to only love the 7,300,000 Jews of Israel, and not the 93,168,497 people of oil-rich Iran or the 87,926,082 people of militarily powerful NATO ally Turkiye -- two countries vehemently opposed to Israel's genocidal campaign against Muslims in Gaza and the West Bank.

This was the 2024 Democratic Party's catastrophic mistake-- not listening to tens of millions of antiwar Samaritans, pacifists, and pro-Palestine volunteers during the horrible Nakba which is continuing today at a slower pace.

Here comes the 'FUNNY' flag from one of the 40,000 pro-Israel trolls which means my arrow struck true.

Trump is trying for a peace treaty.

He should have never picked a war he can't win.

Israel really conned him good.

Stupidest president in history.

Wear it with pride.

When the idiots can't debate you and your post hurts their feelings, flagging your post funny is the only thing they can do to silence the screaming voices in their head.

Clown,

"When the idiots can't debate you and your post hurts their feelings"

Has nothing to do with feelings.

Just tired of the core group of arrogant buttholes on this site.

What do you mean "first blood"? Iran killed Marines in Lebanon, who were trying to keep the peace, that first blood?

The US lifted sanctions on Iranian oil exports last month after signing the MOU, but re-imposed them on Tuesday after the attack on vessels in the strait of Hormuz.

Qatar has been acting as a mediator in the talks between Washington and Tehran, but its foreign ministry spokesperson, Majed al-Ansari, called it a "serious and explicit violation" of international law and said Qatar would hold Iran fully responsible for the act of aggression.
Iran said on Tuesday that Washington's efforts to open up new routes through the strait constituted a breach of the memorandum of understanding the two parties had signed. Tehran claims the memorandum is specifically worded to leave it, in consultation with Oman, to manage the reopening of the strait with the aim of commercial traffic returning to prewar levels within 30 days.

Experts have said that the vague wording of the MOU has left both sides interpreting the agreement in different ways, with the repeated misunderstandings a continuing threat the ceasefire.

Seems, like most wars, some form of miscommunication. Instead of communicating to the US they are violating the MOU, Iran hit three commercial vessels.....
