US Army Soldier Gannon Ken Van Dyke threw away his career, good name, and life to make himself $400,000.

An indictment is merely an allegation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

... In a Congressional hearing Tuesday, Kennedy refused to commit to supporting evidence-based vaccine policy from the next director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At the same time, he refused to say that he wouldn't interfere with the agency's recommendations.

Last week, Trump nominated Erica Schwartz to be the next CDC director, a role that requires Senate confirmation. Schwartz is a respected physician and former public health official who has championed the use of vaccines during her distinguished career. Outside experts were pleasantly surprised by the uncontroversial choice but wary of her ability to implement evidence-based policy under Kennedy.

Last year, Kennedy -- who has no medical, scientific, or public health background -- ousted the previous Senate-confirmed director, Susan Monarez, who was, like Schwartz, a well-qualified and respected pick for the role. Monarez testified that she was pushed out for refusing to rubber-stamp vaccine recommendations from Kennedy's hand-selected anti-vaccine advisors. Monarez lasted as CDC director for just 29 days.

Kennedy's response Tuesday suggested Schwartz could face an equally short tenure.

His answer came amid an exchange with Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-Calif.) in a hearing of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. Ruiz asked Kennedy: "If Dr. Schwartz is confirmed, will you commit on the record today to implement whatever vaccine guidance she issues without interference?"

Kennedy replied without hesitation: "I'm not going to make that kind of commitment." ...

Land Shark

The land shark, or as I call it, the skin shark', is where the sexual receiver stands bent over a bed or wall while their penis'd partner points their -------- at them. They hold their meat sceptor with one hand and put the other hand on top of their head like a shark fin.

They then use their powers of electroreception to find and penetrate the partner with shark-like precision - while humming the Jaws theme song...

MAGAts are truly idiots.

These imbeciles should be disenfranchised from voting, not normal people.

Or classical composers.

Amongst others, Hollywood musical genius John Williams lifted from this masterpiece for a famous 1977 cinematic space melodrama: The last romantic era composition

John Williams once acknowledged that he "borrowed" from 19th-century composer Louis Moreau Gottschalk.

He may have admitted to other "lifts," but I don't know for sure.

I have never seen a less serious Congress in my life.

Excellent candidates are running to change that: Non-AIPAC/Non-Status Quo Democratic Candidates

Kick the status quo dinosaurs, corporation defenders, oligarch minions, and warmongering Islamophobes out of office on Tuesday 3 Nov 2026, Tuesday 2 Nov 2027, and Tuesday 7 Nov 2028.

We'll at least have a fighting chance at no more idiotic Islamophobic wars in the Middle East and possibly more funding for Medicaid and Medicare.

Universal healthcare for Americans, as enjoyed by the residents of Israel, Germany, Greenland, Canada, Taiwan, Iran, tiny Albania, and soon Mexico, is not in Amerikkka's future.

Kick out whoever we can one at a time on election day.

Mexican President Promises Investigation, Possible Sanctions Following Deaths Of CIA Agents In Northern Mexico
www.ibtimes.com

... Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said she might take action against the local government of Chihuahua following the deaths of two CIA agents who were involved in an operation to destroy drug laboratories Sunday.

The deaths of the men and how much they were involved in the operation has sparked concerns about U.S. security activities in Mexico and whether the country's sovereignty was violated. Sheinbaum said that Mexico's federal government was not informed of the operation, something that goes against the law.

There cannot be agents from any U.S. government institution operating in the Mexican field," Sheinbaum said Wednesday, according to CBS News.

The two men died in a vehicle crash on Sunday following the operation along with two Mexican law enforcement officials. A press release from the Chihuahua Attorney General's office noted that "two instructor officers from the United States Embassy...died in an accident while returning from the operation to destroy clandestine laboratories in the municipality of Morelos."

The release further states that the two U.S. men were "two instructor officers from the United States Embassy, who were carrying out training work as part of the exchange that is generally and normally carried out with the American authorities."

Multiple media reports this week have identified the men as CIA agents.

Chihuahua authorities eventually rejected any notion that the men had participated in the operation directly, saying they were several hours away at the time it happened and were conducting training operations. ...

... President Donald Trump's team is no longer making predictions about energy prices.

That much was clear Wednesday when administration officials facing lawmakers declined to put a timetable on when the war in Iran would end and the ensuing rise in energy prices would ease, instead offering vague assurances of their track record in lowering prices.

"I think the conflict will end, and I think gasoline prices will come back to where they were, or perhaps lower," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Senate appropriators.

Bessent declined to say Wednesday when the price of gasoline -- now averaging above $4 per gallon, more than a dollar higher than when the war started -- will come down. Instead, he told Senate appropriators that it depended on the length of the war.

"That is path dependent on when the war and the conflict end," he said.

That's a marked shift in rhetoric from previous public appeals asking for reassurance on energy price spikes two months after Trump launched the strikes in the Middle East and Iran retaliated by attacking oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, choking off nearly 20 percent of the world's oil supply and straining the global economy. Trump himself originally said the war, now nearing its second month, would last "four to five weeks."

Energy Secretary Chris Wright, also appearing at a hearing Wednesday, walked back a comment he made over the weekend that U.S. gasoline prices could stay above $3 per gallon until next year -- a suggestion Trump publicly refuted. ...
